Eva's POV

A couple weeks passed and I couldn't be any happier.

Gabriel's and I's relationship was slowly forming.

We were just talking about our next date when a squealing Casey came up to the table. I looked at Gabriel and he shrugged.

"Why are you squealing Babe?" Sebastian asked while plopping into his seat and pulling her into his lap. She beamed at all of us.

"Guess what!" She yelled. We all chuckled. Suddenly two chairs were pulled back and the twins plopped down. They grinned.

"Come on Case, tell us" they said and she rolled her eyes. She was about to speak but then froze. She was looking behind us to everyone turned to see what caught her attention.

We were all surprised with what we saw.

Theo was walking to our table. He gave us all a small smile and pulled out a chair.

"Hey Guys!" He said awkwardly and the guys scowled.

"Now you want to talk to us!? We've tried calling you a thousand times!" Sebastian exclaimed and he rolled his eyes.

"Sue me! I was busy!" He exclaimed and Sebastian growled.

"A call or text would have been nice! We all thought you were dead!" The twins hissed and Theo rolled his eyes again. Everyone started fighting with him but I couldn't take my eyes away from his arm.

It was wrapped in a gauze bandage that travelled, from what I could tell, all the way up his arm. He tried wearing a long sleeved shirt to cover it but I noticed it he was pointing his finger at the twins.

It was odd to me because it was in the exact location when Gabriel bit the wolf when we were on our date. I looked at Theo again and something at the back of my mind was nagging me.

I was brought back into reality when Gabriel started rubbing circles on my palms.

"You okay?" He asked, concern etched on his face. I blinked and then smiled at him.

"Yeah, just thinking" I said and he gave me a doubtful look but decided to drop the subject.

I interrupted everyone's bickering before they started throwing punches.

"Casey, what's the big news" I asked shyly and everyone one quieted. She smiled.

"Well, what I was going to say before I got rudely interrupted" she started and then shot a look at Theo. He ignored everyone and was scrolling through his phone, "Was that you're looking at the new head coordinator of the Twilight Ball" she said proudly and Sebastian kissed her.

"Congratulations Babe!" He said and everyone congratulated her.

"What's the Twilight Ball?" I asked and they all looked at me with shocked faces.

"How do you not know what the Ball is?" The twins asked and I gave them a 'are you stupid' look.

"You may not have noticed but? I'm new?" I said slowly. They rolled their eyes.

"We're not stupid!" They exclaimed and Sebastian snorted.

"The verdict's still out on that" he said and they flipped him off before turning their focus back on me. They were about to say something but Gabriel cut in.

"What they're trying to say is that the Twilight Ball is really popular. Our town is actually known for it" he explained and I nodded my head in understanding.

"But what's the big deal?" I asked and Casey nearly fainted.

"It's one of the biggest nights in this town!" She exclaimed. "Everyone in the town participates from minor things like food to major things like decorations! This year's theme is so exciting!" She gushed.

"What's this year's theme?" Gabriel asked curiously.

"A Masquerade Ball!" She squealed and I smiled. The boys groaned.

"Seriously?" The twins asked "How are we suppose to know which girl to flirt with or not if they're all wearing masks!" They exclaimed and Casey rolled her eyes.

"By trying to get to know the girl for who she is, not what she looks like! For once in your sad excuses for life!" She yelled and they rolled their eyes.

"Details, Case. All non important details" they said and she jumped out of her seats to strangle them. Sebastian held her back and she cursed the twins out.

I was giggling so much that I started crying.

"OKAY! I'M CALM!" She yelled to Sebastian. He raised an eyebrow but let her go. She turned to me.

"Eva, you wanna go shopping for dresses next week?" She asked

"Sure, but when's the Ball?"

"That's the thing! No one actually knows when the Ball is. We get an invitation a week after the Student Council announces it to the town" she said.

"So no one knows the exact day but they know the theme?" I asked confusedly and they all nodded.

"We have to know the theme ahead of time so we could shop for our attire" she explained. I nodded my head and the bell rang. Gabriel walked me to class.

"So what do you think of all this?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"I don't know, it's actually kind of cool. I mean, what girl doesn't want to go to a Ball" I said while shrugging. He laughed and put his arm around my waist.

"Oh? Does that mean that my little princess wants to go to a Ball?" He asked and I blushed.

"Uh...yeah...I mean...uh...who wouldn't?" I chuckled nervously and he grinned before tightening his grip around my waist.

"Well since you're the princess, doesn't that mean you need a prince?" He asked and I smirked.

"That depends on who it is" I teased.

"Oh really?" He asked smiling.

"Yep" I said before entering our English class. He was about to say something but Mr. Fellows beat him to it.

"Mr. Green, Ms. Taylor please stop flirting with each other and take you seats" he said and we blushed. We quickly took our seats and Mr. Fellows began his lesson.
