"IsortofgothighandIkissedJeremyandthenbrokedowncryinginfrontofhim...for some..strange. reason." Aurora's words splattered all down in front of Caroline, who stared at her with wide eyes and a jaw that was dropping further by the second.

"Okay. Slow down. You did...what?"

"I kissed Jeremy whilst I was high," She started, "and then when realisation dawned upon me I sort of broke down crying and he...hugged me?"

"Aurora! And you didn't think to call me?!"

"In my defence, I was not in the right state of mind!"

"I cannot believe- To be honest, I didn't even think you were capable of being that rebellious-" The blonde had gotten interrupted by the blaring of the bell, warning them to trudge off to their classes.

The two walked off and sat down at the desks further at the back - it was an unspoken rule for the two to never even think about sitting at the front, besides, who would willingly want to sit close enough to witness Mr. Tanner's atrocious nostril hairs? Whilst getting out her books, she noticed a person standing near the desk next to her, waiting for her to get settled to sit there.

"Hey, Aurora, could I sit here?" That voice.

She looked up.

"Oh. Yeah, Stefan. Sure." To which he replied 'thanks' and slid into the chair.

"The Battle of Willow Creek took place right at the end of the war in our very own Mystic Falls. How many casualties resulted in this battle? Ms. Bennett?" Mr Tanner began.

"Um...a lot? I'm not sure. Like a whole lot." The Bennett responded, provoking laughter from the class.

"Cute becomes dumb in an instant, Ms. Bennett. Mr. Donovan? Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded jock stereotype?"

" It's okay, Mr. Tanner, I'm cool with it." The boy confirmed his jock stereotype, presenting a goofy grin at the history teacher's way.

"Hmm. Elena? Surely you can enlighten us about one of the town's most significantly historical events?" God, Mr. Tanner was in a feisty mood today. He pounced and attacked on all the students, eventually leaving them to drown in disappointment for themselves.

Elena was the new victim. But, of course, the girl was caught off-guard - too occupied staring at the boy near her who just so happened to go by the name: Stefan Salvatore.

"I'm sorry, I--I don't know." The brunette responded.

" I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena. But the personal excuses ended with summer break." Ouch. Dick move, Mr Tanner, Aurora thought.

Aurora decided to speak up on behalf of everyone in the classroom at the moment, tired of Tanner's picking and poking on the pupils.

"There were 346 casualties. Unless you're counting local civilians." Her voice acted as a magnet attracting all the attention towards her.
