Dear Uncle Mason,

This year is definitely not my year. You know back when i asked you what the need for boys were? well. I think i know now, because this year i have met the most mysterious, annoying but also strangely comforting man ever. And i have happened to cry more this year than i have in about a decade.
Anyways, enough about me. Hows your new girlfriend? when can i meet her? Dad said you're coming for one of the founding family parties... so i hope to see you there!

From,
your Rora <3

P.S. the crying thing wasn't true. I think I just always cry.

Weeks had passed since Stefan and Aurora's interaction in her room after the grill. The girl had done anything she possible could to avoid him; swapping seats so that they weren't sitting next to each other in Mr Tanner's history class, gluing herself with Caroline so that he couldn't speak to her, hiding her face behind books, etc. etc. Of course, she was still being updated on everything that was happening - stefan and elena's fight, how he danced with Caroline at the founders party the other week, he got the highest marks in a test everybody failed on - one of the perks of being friends with Caroline.

Stefan missed her. He knew it was wrong rejecting her that night was wrong since the smallest part of him was screaming to grab her and kiss the innocence out of those eyes and lips. But the stronger side of him knew that Elena was the right choice, Hell, even the universe thought so. However, the universe could not stop him from missing the brunette mess of a girl.

Aurora was just trudging out of the bookstore as if she were the main character in a movie, with her headphones blasting and her desperately trying to shove her bought books into her tote bag...how should she see Vicki Donovan running into her?

"Oh, Vicki...I haven't seen you in- hey, are you alright?" She asked, not receiving an answer as the tall girl muttered a few curse words and carried on storming down the street. That left a confused Aurora staring at her back until Vicki disappeared.

"Okay then..." Only to be ran into by a panting Jeremy, Elena and...Stefan.

Stefan, Stefan, Stefan, Oh..Stefan.

"Hey, Rory! Uh. Have you- you haven't seen Vicki anywhere have you?" wheezed out Jeremy, who was obviously breathless from trying to find the girl he trailed after.

"She just..." Aurora responded and pointed in the direction Vicki went in whilst also avoiding Stefan's confused gaze. Elena smiled and Jeremy nodded and started walking away before suddesnely stopping and turning to the Lockwood again, "You are coming to the halloween party tonight, right?"
