TW:- DEATH
Founders day.
A yearly celebrated event in the town of Mystic falls celebrates the founding families and their long lineage. You will constantly hear the screeching of Carol Lockwood, groaning of jocks and dads as they shift heavy objects from one place to the other, and the snickering of Mums as they gossip endlessly.Stefan was wandering around on the grass waiting for Elena to appear from the building that all the girls were getting ready in, he was wondering where Aurora was. She said that she would be here from the very beginning, but he had not caught sight of her yet.
"Look at you, all retro." Damon snickered.
"What are you doing here?" Stefan groaned.
"Why wouldn't I be here? Bonnie deactivated the Gilbert invention, Isobel is gone and it's Founders' Day!" The older Salvatore smirked, "I'm here to eat cotton candy and steal your girl."
"Don't start with me, Damon." Stefan hated the fact that he thought of Aurora as 'his girl', instead of Elena Gilbert.
"What? You have no sense of humor, Stefan."
"Actually I've no sense of 'Damon humor'." The younger Salvatore drawled.
"'Damon humor'...Hey look, I get it, I get it. I'm the better, hotter, superior choice-"
Damon suddenly got shoved forward by a slightly smaller figure, she came to Stefan's side and smiled up at him before glaring at Damon, "Hmm. I beg to differ."
"God, not you again." Damon grimaced, "Don't you have homework to be doing instead of interrupting two vampires in a heated conversation?" Aurora opened her mouth to snap back but was quickly cut off by the dark-haired man, "Anyways. As I was saying, Elena is not katherine."
"Pfft, well obviously." Aurora snorted, to no one. Because Damon was too busy drooling over Elena walking up to the three with an angel smile on her face. The Lockwood was unaware of what had one brother in total awe and the other in total shock, but God, Elena did rock a ballgown very well.

Aurora had decided to step away from the awkward vibe that radiated off the two Salvatores and the Gilbert, deciding to linger around and look for people she knew – very few, but still – and silently praying she wouldn't run into her mother. She let out a sigh of relief when she spotted Jeremy, but her brows quickly furrowed when she saw a familiar face talking to him."Hey Jer, sorry to interrupt." She smiled before dimming it and turning to the girl next to him, "I'm Aurora Lockwood, friend of Jeremy's." Aurora gave out her hand for the other brunette to shake. Instead, the nameless girl nodded and let out a small lift of her lips before speaking to Jeremy again in a lowered voice:
"I can show you how."Aurora noticed Jeremy looking conflicted, "I wanted to, I really did. But I don't think I can." He replied before flickering his gaze towards the Lockwood who stood there admiring the grass awkwardly, "Can we continue this conversation anot-"
