Chapter 19 - Come What May

It had been a few days and Shigaraki was trying to go home to give Dabi and V time alone. He was able to go grab some of their own clothes the first day but only because he promised to be back the same day. It took some convincing because V was scared that something was going to happen. She got a little hysterical this time since Shigaraki said he needed a couple days and the doctor had to give her something to calm down.

"She will be ok, she's been through a lot so it's normal for her to have these outbursts. She will probably need to talk to someone when she's ready just so she can deal with it." The doctor packed his bag up.

Dabi had put her back in bed and covered her up, "What else can I do?"

"Just make sure she eats and takes her pre-natal. Have her see a doctor soon as possible, to make sure her and the baby get proper care. I'll see her in about 2 weeks to take out her stitches. She should leave off the bandage but I understand her hesitation. The scar should be minimal but most likely will be visible."

"Thank you doctor." Dabi walked him out and then went back to be by V's side. He brushed the hair from her face, "Take as long as you need Peaches." He rested his head on her chest and started rubbing her belly. "I know you're going to be strong because your mommy is the strongest person I know. Just wait until you meet her. I can't wait to meet you, it's strange to love someone so much and you haven't even seen them. I promise no matter what you want to do, you will have my full support. I won't make you do anything you don't want to, I just ask that you try. Don't be afraid to try new things."

Dabi kissed her belly and slowly closed his eyes and had the best dream of the three of them at the beach laughing and playing in the waves.

Shigaraki had to stop by Keigo's place, Dabi hadn't called him and honestly he didn't want to hear anything. Dabi just wanted to focus on V and the baby. Shigaraki tried to get Keigo to tell him over the phone but he said it was a serious matter and needed to talk in person.

Shigaraki walked in his house, "ok, I'm here. Now tell me what's going on. What's so important I had to come here."

Keigo poured Shigaraki a drink and motioned for him to sit. "It's about Toga."

"What about her?"

Keigo finished his drink in one shot, there was no easy way to say it. "She's the one that helped Kai lure V away."

Shigaraki spit his drink, "What?? You have to be joking right? I thought she was cool with V now, why would she do that?"

"She thought she was helping Kai blackmail Enji. She thought Dabi would be happy."

"Well she is going to hate that Dabi and his father are working things out."

"Son of a bitch, it worked. I'm surprised he did it."

"Did you have something to do with that? What are you up to behind the scenes?" Shigaraki took a sip, "Wait go back to Toga, what are you going to do about her. Dabi is going to be pissed."

"I've had some time to think," Keigo poured himself another glass of Galliano. "I was really angry and was ready to get rid of her and Jin but now that I've calmed down. I'm still upset that she got herself used by Kai and put everyone in danger. As much as I hate to admit it, her heart was in the right place but not the action."
