Chapter 5 - FRIENDS

V parked and waved to Shigaraki, "Hey."

He grabbed her shoulders, "You had sex with him."

"What?"

"You did, I can tell. Don't lie to me, you and Dabi slept together didn't you."

V's shoulders slumped and she looked away, "We did."

He held her chin in his hand and faced her to him, "Hey, why are you upset?"

"Because you mean a lot to me and I don't want to hurt you."

Shigaraki smiled, "I love you V and I trust you. But it's ok, mainly because you're not my type."

"Oh," V seemed a little shocked that he would first say he loved her but add she wasn't his type.

"I meant everything word I said about you. I didn't want you to get hurt by Dabi. He's a great guy but not the boyfriend type. Also I have my eye on someone but it's complicated. He's not the affectionate type so it's hard to figure him out."

"OH, well that makes me feel a little better. I love what we have, to be honest I did wonder what it would be like to date you and even kiss you."

"Do you still want to know?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"Yeah right, you gave Dabi a hard time about toying with me and then say all this. Please, I don't need unnecessary sexual tension."

"Maybe we should, just to make sure there isn't tension between us."

Before V could say something Shigaraki leaned down and kissed her. There was something about how soft and romantic this was. She put her arms around his neck as he lifted her so her toes barely touched the ground and deepened the kiss. When he lowered her to her feet he finally pulled away.

"Ok ready to get some lunch," Shigaraki acted like nothing just happened.

"Excuse me, you're going to act like that didn't happen?"

He laughed, "Come on, of course I'm attracted to you. It's been awhile since I kissed someone so why not you."

"Ugh that's even worse Shiggy."

"Yeah yeah," he grabbed her hand and started walking towards a sandwich shop, "but did you like it?"

"I'm not telling you anything." Her face red with embarrassment.

He looked at her all smug, "you loved it. Good to know I still got it. I'm starved and I'm sure you are too."

"So tell me about this guy. Do I know him?"

"You do so that should make it easy for you to guess."

She thought for a moment and realized who she always saw him with, "It's Kai?"

Shigaraki just smiled, "let's eat and talk."

V thought this would complicate things, how could she tell Shigaraki what Kai said. They got their food and sat in the back where they could be alone. "So what was that? And before you say it was JUST a kiss we both know it wasn't."

"Yes I'm attracted to you in a way. I'm attracted to people's energy."

"So Kai and I have the same energy? I don't see how, he's very, umm. It seems like he's wound tight."

"Haha maybe, but no. You have different energies I just like them both. So let's start with what got you upset yesterday. Why are you worried about our image."

"I don't want to say because it involves Kai."

"Well now you have to tell me."

V told him what Kai said about them and the band. She was worried Shigaraki would be hurt but when he started laughing she was confused. "What, why are you laughing?"
