Iris knew that this piece of information was important for her. If the Chosen one could use illusion and play dead then truly the attacking group would leave her alone. She would return then to her kingdom.
Where was she then? Albeit the hopeful feeling in her gut there was also doubt. The lantern could sense her presence from childhood, and therefore stay lit. It wasn't on and that was the problem.
Where was she then? Iris wondered. She slumped back on the chair and traced her fingers across the page. There was no more information on this special power. She needed to talk to someone about this and fast.
She took the book to return it to the empty space on the shelf when something fell off from the pages.
Putting the book back on the table she took the paper and unfolded it. It was a map.
She had no time to even study it but she knew it was important so she folded it and tucked it in her robes.
She took the stairs preparing to leave when she felt something. Her vision blurred for a second then it became focused. She felt an unknown surge of power down her right hand and by sheer instinct unfolded her fist. White light gushed from her hand breaking the door above and a part of the wall.
Iris looked at her hand in shock and at the door.
What just happened?
Prince Kai who was looking through the shelves at the far end was hidden to the happenings behind him.
Iris stood there, a hand on her mouth. Where did the light come from? She inspected her hand but there was nothing out of ordinary. She gulped. What was happening to her all of a sudden. In a normal occasion, she would have called it hallucination but she could see everything. It was real. She took a step back and mistakenly stepped at the end of the stairs. She braced herself for the fall. It never came. A blue light emitted from her body was holding her afloat.
Iris blinked once then twice. Was she dreaming in broad daylight? As if reading her mind the 'light' landed her on her feet.
Oslo, saw all of it and was not shocked at all. He watched in secret amusement as Iris stood in front of the already destroyed door lost.
'Took her long enough' he said and approached her.

The Library was quiet with only the light from the fireplace and the candles around him. He hummed softly has he sorted out the books he had been reading in the day to return them to their respective shelves. The Light from the fireplace started cracking uncontrollably and to his utter shock, turned blue. He turned around after feeling a presence behind him.
Then he saw her. She stood at the far end of the library. Her golden attire shone brightly under the candle light. On her hand was a piece of scroll. She extended her hand and motioned for him to take it.
He went on his knees and bowed. Why was she here? He wondered. He extended his hand and took the scroll. In it was a map. He looked up in question.
"she should not be late to come to me ," she said.
"Who," Sir Oslo asked. The shock of seeing the goddess in her true form had not worn out yet and he was fidgeting nervously.
"She will come, and you will recognize her."
She then turned around and disappeared
"How....?She is gone."

"Your Majesty?" Oslo
Iris snapped out of her daze and looked up to find Oslo standing in front of the opening. She expected a look of shock or surprise but was met with a calm face.Iris wiped her sweaty hands on her robes and swallowed hard.
"You... You... Saw that?" she asked pointing shakingly at the destruction she had caused.
"Come," sir Oslo directed her to a seat opposite his. When she was sitted he poured her some tea before calmly sitting down and finally facing her nervous figure.
He was utterly amused at her remembering his own encounter with the goddess.
Iris was surprised at the calm man and raised her left eyebrow in question.
"Let's start with the voice." sir Oslo said and smiled when Iris frowned slightly. She had decided that the man in front of her knew a lot. She nodded and listened.
"Some time back I got a surprise visit from the owner of the voice, our first goddess. She brought a map and awaits your visit."
"huh!? "
That was it?
"the map has a few marks," Sir Oslo explained after requesting to see it. He pointed at the marks which formed a path from the capital outskirts towards the forbidden forest."Follow the direction, you will find the answer. Remember, never give up half way, fight your way through and be persistent."
Sir Oslo stood up and approached Iris who had also stood up still dazed, he parted her head lovingly.
'Find the answers and save your people from the upcoming doom, Chosen one.' He thought silently as he watched her walk out of the library.
Iris couldn't feel herself for sometime and she walked on without seeing the people bowing and greeting her as she passed by. She was in deep shock and at the same time confused.
She looked at her hands curiously, inspecting them to find any abnormalities, there was none. She only hoped they won't decide to spit fire in public.
She smiled in amusement when she imagined people's reactions at that.
Her mood was spoiled when she saw Palin walking towards her.
