Follis looked at her friend walking besides her and sighed for the hundredth time. She was quiet and her index finger was tapping unconsciously on the arc of her bow. She was dressed in black and white robes unlike other times when she had to be fully in red.... The worrior's attire.

Her upper teeth worried her lower lips. The forest was quiet too apart from the cracking of dry leaves beneath their feet and an annoying weaver bird who was notoriously chirping above them calling for her mate.

The tall trees cast gloomy shadows on the ground making it a little creepy. A sudden rustle of leaves ten feet away brought back Iris who swiftly held a bow in place and released an arrow missing the culprit by an inch. Athens.

"You missed again, Iris!" Athens said pretending to be surprised. Iris glared at her annoying brother before speed walking away leaving the two idiots laughing their heads off. She missed on purpose, she scoffed when she glanced back to see then running to catch up.

The distant splash made her smile, she was on the right track.

The blue stream was located deep into the forest, away from the realm's settlements. It was a beautiful sight to behold and a good resting place or if needed a good deep would do wonders.

*********
The Light realm sat proudly below the mountains. Peaceful and beautiful. Pink and white flowers made it look like fictional land. The Kingdom was known for its greatness and with it came wealth. Gold.

But.....

Back before the formation of the Realm. The goddess ruled over all and in her fruitful years of her existence she was blessed with two Children. Indie and Nelik.

It was a law that after the age of eight, any royalty both prince's and princesses would leave their kingdom and travel to the Warrior's Realm where for twelve years, they would train, to become worriors who would be fit enough to protect their kingdoms and that's how Indie and Nelik found themselves in the Warrior's Realm.

For the next twelve years, they would train constantly. In that realm there was no rules, light and darkness were never considered and everyone was considered equal.

Iscarios, The chosen Prince of the Dark Realm, had set his eyes on someone, Indie.

Nelik and Indie came back but there was a change in how Indie behaved. She saught out permission to leave for a while and granted, she had left.

That's when, The goddess mother realized, her daughter had fallen in love. She could have been happy but something forced her not to. The person indie was in love with was Iscarios. Light and Darkness didn't mix.

Indie couldn't stay and that's how she had left behind her Kingdom, mother and sister and chose that
path. With Indie gone Nelik was the only heir left.

The goddess had failed and she had to leave her Kingdom and live in isolation only as a guardian. She would watch over her Kingdom and Nelik would be the successor there after.

She knew that war would come, where light and darkness would clash and she wouldn't be there. She went into meditation and was granted a wish.
She had to choose a Savior for her people.

The Light and Dark realms were separated by a portal, closed using the goddesses cultivation powers. She would choose a successor of her cultivation every thousand years to fight if the portal was too hard to close anymore. The successor would possess all her powers, enough to destroy the Dark Realm.

It had been a thousand years now since the last Savior was chosen, she had left after the conquer to meditate besides the goddess, to watch over the realm and give up her cultivation to the next Savior, the chosen one.

Iris sat on the bank and dangled her bare feet into the water. She watched silently as a group of blue fish, curiously swimming round her feet with one brave enough to nibble her big toe before scampering away happily.

She wished that she was as happy as those creatures. No worries and no war.

She looked up when Athens sat beside her and Follis sat at the other side. They knew what was happening to her.

"This is truly unbelievable," She said almost queitly.

The problem was that the Lantern of Light had distinguished. That meant one thing.

The chosen one was dead or her powers were taken.... Her powers couldn't be felt around the Kingdom.

It was unheard of course, the lantern never turned off.

The only error in the goddess's wish was that no one would see or identify the savior until she was mature enough, she would be anyone.

On the day of coming to power she would be called to the forest where the cultivation would be passed on to her. She would spend months in the forest and get them in her control and come back.

It happens that the day the Lantern turned off only a few girls had gone missing from the realm. One of them was the Savior.

After few days, the patrol warriors found the bodies scarred beyond recognition few feet away from the portal openings. They believed that the Dark Realm had a hand in this.

But what shocked them more was.... The goddess couldn't hold the portal closed any longer.
