Chapter 4 - The Jade Palace

Shadow Pov:

Tigress grabbed my wrist and dragged me though the village. I tried to wriggle out of her grasp, but she was too strong.

I did not want to go to master Shifu, because if she was widely known, and I was training under him, then I would be widely known too.

Loki would know exactly where I was.

"We are going to the Jade Palace." Tigress stated in a flat tone.

I guessed this was the palace that was on the mountain, overlooking the valley.

She let go of my wrist as we got to the bottom of he multiple stairs leading to the palace.

I was tempted to run, but half of me wondered what was in that palace.

Tigers got on all fours and started running up the stairs at great speed. I followed after her actions, and soon, I was running along side with her.

She tried to spread ahead of me to stay in front, but I was bigger and much faster than her.

I passed her, and reached the palace gate first.
She soon reached the landing. She hissed at me, angry that I was faster, and opened the gate.

Inside was something I could never imagine. A crane, monkey, viper, and praying mantis were all training on a course that involved, fire, spinning blades, and a large bowl.

There was a red panda, with his hands behind his back, probably teaching the odd group.

"Master Shifu." she ran up to him and keeled in front of him. she bowed her head low, and put her two hands together in front of her. "I have brought a good fighter."

He looked over to me. "The black leopard?"
He walked over to me, and poked my stomach with his staff that he had with him. " Very muscular."

He walked a circle around me. He then walked back to Tigress. I saw him take a knife out of his cloak. He threw the knife at me with amazing speed.

I kicked the knife in the air, and punched it back into the floor.

I hit the knife so hard, it went so far in the floor, and you could only see the hilt.

"Very fast reflexes. He will be valuble to our side."

I wondered what that meant.

"Furious Five!" he yelled to the animals that were training.

They stopped what they were doing, and immediately came over to the red panda.

They all bowed the same bow that Tigress did. "Master Shifu." they all said in unison.

Master Shifu looked at me, and back at the four and Tigress. "This is..." he signaled to say my name.

"Shadow."

"-Shadow. he will be training with us, and will help us out with missions and raids while Po is gone."

He paused.

"This is Mantis, Crane, Viper, Monkey, and Tigress." he said pointing at each one in turn.

Yes, I definitely thought the Crane's name was Monkey. Thanks for pointing to each of them, so I wouldn't get their names confused.

"Back to the course five."

They ran back to the spinning blades an fire.

"So, you know kung fu."

"Yes, to an extent."

"That wasn't a question." he paused. "I saw your fighting skill. You know how the pressure points, and how to stun."

"Well, yes, but I'm not very goo-" I was cut off

"That still wasn't a question. Not many know that teqnique. Where did you learn it?"

"I taught myself."

"Interesting." He changed the subject. "Why are you here? Like, in the valley?"

"Well, I'm running for someone who wants me dead." I confessed. something about his presence made me feel safe.

"Who?"

"Well...."

"No, it's ok, you don't have to tell me. How about you go train with them?"

"Um.." I had no Idea how to train in a course, I only did 1v1, or me vs multiple people.

"Well, if you don't know how, you can train with me. let's go outside." He went though the main entrance, with me following after him.

"Now, we fight."

He lunged at me with startling speed for an old man. I dodged his attack, and attempted to hit his spine, but he dodged me back, and kicked my jaw.

"Sloppy." he lunged at me again. I tried to dodge him, but he was too fast for me. He hit my shoulder, where a nerve was, and made my arm go limp. "I guess I win. Tigress said you were good, obviously, she lied."

I scowled.

I reached my movable hand over to my paralyzed arm. I pressed on a nerve point that was near my neck, making my arm movable again.

I looked over at Shifu. "At least you know how to un-stun someone."

Wow, thanks Sifu.

"Tigress!" he called to the tiger. A moment later, she bounded out the door. She rushed to Shifu and bowed to him.

"Yes master?"

"Fight him." he pointed at me. "This is just training, so don't kill him."

"With pleasure," She smiled a toothy smile. she couldn't wait to hurt me. "I'll try not to, master."

She suddenly rushed at me, I dodged out of the way, but her claws grazed my skin, cutting my fur, and nicking my skin.

"Oh, your gonna get it." I snarled and lunged at her, doing a flip over her. I stuck the landing, and tried to kick her back.

She caught my foot and tossed me upward. I twisted mid air, and looked down.

Tigress jumped up to join me in the air. she thew some punches, and I blocked them.

Then she did something unexpected, her hand flew forward and grabbed my shirt. I did not want to ruin the shirt the Mr. Ping had so nicely gave me, so I did not try to fight her.

She noticed this, so she grabbed my arm, and flipped me over, landing on the ground with a loud thump. as soon as this fight started, it was quickly ended by Tigress humbling me.

"Ugh..." I groaned, my hole body hurt.

"What is this?" Tigress was picking something off the ground. I was a small, leather pouch.

Oh no.

Shifu walked over to her, and she handed him the pouch. He opened it, and pulled out the Chrystal. He gasped.

"The Deamon Chrystal! It had been missing for a little over two decades!"

He turned to me. "You." he said maliciously. He went close to my face, and hit my spine. He paralyzed me temporarily.

"You took the jam, and killed the chiftess of Leopard village, and caused the chief to go missing!" he yelled. I tried to explain, but my mouth would not move.

"Gaurds!" Tigress yelled. Two Healy aremd pigs came over to me. "Lock him away. We will question him later."

I was dragged away from them, Shifu styling the gem with an awed expression on his face, and Tigress glaring daggers at me.

"Knock him out."

I felt something hit my head, and I fell into darkness.

This was pretty much just a filler chapter, the romance begins a few chapters out, so just Shadow adjusting to being trained, and the Furious five just getting used to him.

Also, most of the chapters will be in Shadow's point of view, so all of the chapters that do not state who's pov it is, it's most likely Shadow's.
