Two uploads - One day! I'm insane.

Shadow Pov:

As I was occupied by two of the attackers, and the boat about to be flipped, i heard someone yell. I looked over at Tigress, and noticed she wasn't moving.

I tried to get to her and help her, but I was too busy with fighting off the attackers.

I delivered fatal blows to the two attackers, and ran to help Tigress.

Then the boat flipped. All of our supplies, lost. our only form of trandportation, lost. I was submerged in the water. I opened my eyes, in hopes to find Tigress.

I saw a shape, coming for me. At first I thought it was Tigress, but whoever it was had fins.  It must have been the thing that flipped the boat. I started panic-swimming away from them.

I squinted my eyes, this is how i die. When i expected the attack, nothing happened. I opened my eyes, and noticed that the animals had swam right past me.

I was releaved.

Time to find Tigress. I used my might vision to find her limp shilowet. I swam to her, grabbed her, and went to the surface.

I gasped in air, and swam to the nearest riverbank. I flopped Tigress on the shore, and used my arms to pull myself up.

Then I noticed, Tigress wasn't breathing. I panicked, and started doing CPR.

I pumped my hands on her chest. I heard a couple cracks, most defiantly her ribs, but I didn't care. All I cared is that she would be alive.

After a few more pumps, she coughed up the river water, and sat upright.

"Tigress, your ok!" I hugged her tight, but not to tight as to hurt her now broken ribs. "Im so glad you didn't die. I love you too much to let that happen."

Yes, I know, I couldn't belive that I said that either.

"I lo-" she couldn't finish her sentence before she passed out. She fell limp on my shoulder, so laid her down, and then noticed something.

She had a pouch around her neck.

I gently took it off, and opened it. Inside was the mission scroll, a map, and a couple of coins. Thank you Tigress, for thinking of the mission, even when we were on the verge of death.

I decided to make a shelter, I left Tigress at the riverbank in search of big sticks.

Ten minutes later, I had a small shelter complete. I carefully picked Tigress up and laid her next to a fire pit that I had built.

I took two stones, and hit them together until it made a spark, igniting the dry wood.

I took off my shirt, and laid it on the spit that I had made to dry the scrolls and clothes. I had almost drifted to sleep, when I heard a grunt.

I sat up and scooted to Tigress's. She attempted to sit up, when I stopped her.

"Don't sit up. I think me doing CPR on you may have broken some of your ribs."

Tigress Pov:

As I drifted into consciousness, I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

I tried to sit up, when I felt someone hold me down by my shoulder.

"Don't sit up. I think me doing CPR on you may have broken some of your ribs."

It was Shadow, he was ok.

The events from earlier flooded back to me. The attack, the boat flipping, me almost drowning.

"Thanks for saving me." I smiled at him. He smiled back.

We looked up, and back at the stars. Shadow broke the silence.

"Do you think the Demon Chrystal is ok?" he asked.

"Yes, Viper and Monkey are excelent warriors. The gem is as safe as it will ever be."

We stopped talking after that. I heard soft snores coming from shadow, so I decided to do the same. I let myself drif of into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up at daybreak, my thoughts suddenly clear. I tried to sit up, but something fuzzy was flopped over my arm.

I twisted myself around, and looked to see what it was. It was Shadow's arm. He had been spooning me.

I jolted a little bit at the sight. I must've woken him up, because his eyes opened, and stared into mine.

His beautiful green eyes.

I could have stared into them all day, apparently he couldn't have done the same to mine.

He jumped up and pinned his back against the nearest tree.

"I-I'm sorry, you started shivering, but I didn't have anything to cover you with, so I used my body heat. Sorry, Sorry." He covered his face with is hands.

"It's ok. Can you help me with my ribs?" I said trailing off subject

I wished he had stayed spooning me longer.

"Uh, sure, how can I though?" he looked confused.

"Uh, chi?" I said like it was obvious. Oh, right, he had disconnected himself from communication for twenty years. Of course he didn't know about chi.

"Sorry, you probably don't know how to do that, I'll show you." I sat up, wincing in the process, and positioned my hands, clasped together. I then slid my hands down my arms, and made a circle. My hands started to glow a yellow color.

I held my hand out and touched Shadow's arm where he had a scratch. I held my hand on his arm for a few seconds, then the glow started to fade.

I lifted my hand off of him, and placed my hand back by my side.

The scratch on his arm was gone, and in its place was a small, glowing print of my paw.

He looked at his arm in awe. "That's Chi? I could have used that multiple times on myself."

"Well, you can't heal yourself. I've tried, but it dosnt work, which is why I'm asking you to heal me.

He folded his hands, and did the exact same motions I had previously shown him. Nothing happened. He tried a few more times, still nothing.

The final time he tried, he paused, and furrowed his eyebrows. He gracefully clasped his hands, and slid them down his arms. He made a circle with his hands, and held his hand out to me.

His hands started glowing, the same yellow glow as everyone else's who knew chi. He placed his palm on my chest.

I felt a odd tingling feeling as my ribs started repairing themselves.

After a while, he took his hand off of my chest.

"Done." he smiled and lied his head on the ground.

"I was a little tired after I first healed someone, take a nap, you'll need it for the journey ahead."

He laid back down, and eventually, his breaths slowed. I leaned over and kissed his cheek.

I hope he felt the same way about me as I felt about him.
