He drove us to a place that was further away from civilisation. We passed some woods and honestly I know the place would look very beautiful in the day light but right now it just looked creepy. The trees went so high you could barely see the sky and it was dark as fuck.
I didn’t like the vibes I was getting. And Celeste was quiet and all my attempts to strike up a conversation were tossed in the trash. It was either he didn’t respond or just gave me a one worded answer. He didn’t even let me play music so I had to seat in utter silence.
I was getting bad vibes. And I was beginning to get scared.
The car came to a stop and I looked outside and all I could see was woods and nothing else. It was a clearing and as I said, it would look amazing in daylight. At the moment, it just looks like a scene out of supernatural or conjuring.
He opened the door for me and I got out. It was surprising not as cold as I thought. I looked around.
“come.” He said and he held my hand and pulled me. He led me further into the clearing until we reached a spot. There was a table with two chairs. There was food on the table. There was a pathway made by fairy lights and candles. There was a few flower bouquets and the table overlooked a cliff that showed off a magnificent view of the city. The lights looked like a million stars.
There was a tent like thing that covered the table that had fairy lights wrapped all around it like vines and they were flowers on the corners. It looked like something out of a romantic movie.
“this is very beautiful.” I said in awe.
He gave me a kiss. “am glad you think so. Come on lets eat.” He said.
He led me to a chair and pulled it out for me to sit. I sat down and he went to sit on his chair opposite mine.
“so there is wine, and some juice. We have Greek salad for starter, fried rice and pork with some sautéed green beans for the main course and ice cream cake for dessert.” He said.
“it sounds so lovely and smells so good.” I said.
“good. I cooked it.” He said.
“you are joking.” I said with a smile.
He smiled and he put a mouthful of the salad in his mouth.
Celeste cooked. Yah no way.
He cooks but he hates it so much. He says why cook if you can pay someone to do it.
‘I really don’t believe it.” I said.
Our conversation flowed smoothly as if he wasn’t being moody. I even forgot about the bad vibes I was getting. It was all good vibes.
we were having the ice cream when I found a ring. A huge diamond ring.
“about time.” He groaned.
I was confused, in denial, nervous and excited but mostly I was speechless.
He went down on one knee then he stood up.
“yah I cant.” He said.
I was filled with disappointment.
He reached for my hand and made me stand up.
“I cant kneel for so long and I have this huge speech in my head but am being at loss of words. I cant put my feelings into words and am getting so nervous.” He said and gave me a kiss.
I let out a breath of relief. I thought he had changed his mind.
“Aqua Tanesha Miles, you are my queen and I love you. Am sure you already know that but I know you were waiting for me to say it to you. You are the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, the person I want to rule the mafia with, the person I want to grow old with. I love you so much. You are my soulmate and we are in this together forever. Am sure your mind went into overdrive when I answered Matteo that you had to know what I was capable of. Well, betray my trust in any way, I will kill you. Never forget that. I love you too much to take the betrayal well. I will protect you and I will try my best not to hurt you. So will you marry me?” he said.
“yes I will.” I said. I had tears falling and he kissed my cheeks and my lips. He got the ring from my  grasp and slid it on my finger.
“I love you.” I said.
He smiled.
“if you had said no, I planned to throw you down the cliff.” He said.
“geez..” I said.
“now lets go home so I can fuck my fiancé” he said.
“fiancée I love the sound of that.” I said as I wrapped my hands around his neck.
