"Hey Chan uhm... can I ask you something?" Hyunjin asked as they were on their way back, almost back at campus.

"Yeah, sure. Go ahead"

"This" he pulled their interlocked hands up, bringing Chan's attention to them "what is this huh?"

"Well.. I don't know, honestly. You don't like how it feels?" The older asked, squeezing Hyunjin's hand a little.

"It's not like that, it's just.. where is this going? You know you've only just met me today and all"

"So what?"

"Well, just so you know, I'm a big big mess that you still need to get to know. You might regret the moment you asked to hang out with me."

"Your parents can be serial killers and I still wouldn't regret the moment I picked up that phone of yours and ran after you."

"You're making one big mistake, Hyung."

"I seriously don't think so." Chan chuckled.

"What about the ki- I- I mean.. nevermind."

"The kiss? You mean the kiss, don't you?"

"No, I- well.. yeah."

"I don't regret that either. Besides, we haven't ACTUALLY kissed yet. Or is lip touching a kiss for you already?" He laughed.

"No.. I don't consider it an actual 100 percent kiss either. But it was something and... and you don't regret getting that close to me?"

"Hyunjin, what is all this? I'm serious, if you don't like where this is going then tell me, let go of my hand, walk away. Just please,... please don't pretend to like me. Be honest with me, don't lead me on." Chan said, letting go of Hyunjin's hand as he did so.

His expression saddened, eyes seeming like they were about to tear up again, making Hyunjin feel endless guilt for messing up once again.

"What?! Chan no, I wouldn't lead you on! I- I just asked since we were strangers a few hours ago, and I still can't believe that you're actually right here next to me, someone so utterly unimportant."

Chan shook head lightly, looking back at Hyunjin with so much determination in his eyes, "I don't care about who you are. There's nothing I could care less about. What matters to me is the personality you have, the way you treat others around you."

The younger smiled, taking Chan's hand back into his own, "I'm sorry for hurting you. I just.. I want to make sure whatever it is that's going on, isn't going too fast for you."

"Are you serious? Too fast?" The boy chuckled, holding onto the younger and starting to slowly walk next to each other again, "You know, some people only ever talk 5 words to each other and then hook up and have sex already. And you know what these 5 words are? They're 'do you wanna have sex?.' so be glad I'm taking things slow with you."

Hyunjin laughed, holding tightly onto the other's hand, "Who said I would mind the fast way?"

"I never said I would mind it either." Chan smirked.

"Okay then it's settled, wanna have sex?"

Both of them laughed at that question, they obviously were both joking. The two kept on talking and holding conversations along the way, getting to know each other more.

Sooner or later they arrived back at their university, Hyunjin noticing that the older had let go of his hand once they had arrived, but he didn't think much of it.

"Where's your dorm, Jinnie?" Chan asked, that same warm smile still on his face.

"Block B room 16."

"I'll walk you there."

"Ooh, so you're playing the gentleman now huh?" Hyunjin spoke as they headed for his dorm.

"I can be the mean bad boy type of person too if that's what you're into." Chan chuckled.

"Nope, I like you the way you are already!"

☆----------------------------☆

"Here we are." Chan smiled as they both arrived in front of Hyunjin's door.

"Thank you, Hyung. For today, for walking me, for everything."

"You're welcome Hyunjin."

"Will we see each other again?"

The older looked left and right through the hallway, looking if there was anyone else coming.

When he didn't spot anyone, he reached his hand up to Hyunjin's face, caressing his cheek, watching as the younger leaned into his touch.

"Tomorrow at the party?"

"Mhm.." Hyunjin simply hummed, enjoying the small gesture of Chan and the nice warm feeling that came with it, "promise you'll be there?"

"Well I... I promise, okay?"

"Thank you." Hyunjin smiled as Chan let go, his hand traveling down to take the youngers into his own for a split second one last time.

"Alright, see you tomorrow."

"See ya." the boy smiled, Chan slowly let go of their interlocked hands and started walking away.

Hyunjin took a deep breath and rapidly unlocked the door to his and Jisung's dorm. He took a quick step inside and closed the door, leaning against it and letting his body slide down at the light brown wood.

Only now had he exhaled the air he had previously breathed in and trapped in his lungs.

"I can't believe this." He ran his hands through his hair multiple times, a deep blush forming across his cheeks.

"What's happening?" He suddenly heard Jisung coming out of his room.

"Jisung, I messed up. I messed up so badly." He answered, his face turning more and more red as he kept recalling previous events from today.

"Oh gosh, what did you do this time?" The younger sighed.

"I- I fell in love way too quickly.. way, way too quickly."

"And who's that lucky guy who managed to suddenly make you fall in love with him?"

"It's... it's Bang Chan."
