"Here are the rules again:
You and the other participants get blindfolded and stand to the opposite of each other. You then have to blindly walk towards one of them and whoever you bump into, you have to sleep with tonight.
You already know you're g...
"Y-you d-did?" Chan asked, his voice small and fragile as always.
Hyunjin's tears duplicated, but he tried to take a deep breath, not letting go whatsoever. He nodded as a small smile made its way to his face "No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't help but worry about you. I'm so glad you're okay!"
"W-well.." Chan chuckled lightly, nuzzling his face against the younger's neck, eyes closed as his heart kept on making endless backflips "..If you call these wounds 'okay' th-then I guess I-I'm okay?"
Hyunjin's eyes widened and he abruptly let go of the boy, his hands still on his shoulders as he worryingly looked at him "Shit I totally forgot about them! Did I hold you too tightly? Did I hurt you?"
Chan slightly shook his head, his eyes sparkling as he looked at the other's ones "You've never hurt me.." He reached his hands up, using them to gently wipe away Hyunjin's tears "..but it hurts to see you crying like this.."
The younger smiled, trying to calm down, to calm himself, his tears and his heart down "You're so adorable.."
The boy blushed and pulled his hands away again, looking down to hide his rosy cheeks "Th-thank you..."
Hyunjin smiled as he slowly calmed down, using his hands to rub up and down the other's injured arms "We should go now though, they're already waiting for us to join them for dinner."
Now the boy rememered that he had to go outside his room and encounter other people, making his heart drop once again. However just then, Hyunjin took him back into his arms, hugging him gently to make sure he doesn't harm him in any way "As I said, they're going to love you, so no need for too much anxiety and overthinking okay?"
Chan nodded lightly, taking a deep breath before they finally fully parted. Together, they headed outside the door and to the living room where the dining table was located. Just standing by the door and the older's heart was already beating out of his chest when he saw the younger's parents already seated and waiting for them.
Hyunjin gave him a big reassuring smile, reminding him that he wasn't alone and that nothing bad was going to happen to him, that he was safe and very welcome here.
Both of them walked inside and the two waiting adults immediatly started smiling when they spotted the two. Hyunjin's father and mother stood up from their seats, shaking their heads with many "no's" when the older of the boys bowed and said hello to them, thanking them multiple times for allowing him to stay at their house.
"There's no need for any of this, you're Hyunjin's friend and that's enough for us to treat you like our own son!" Hyunjin's father spoke and Chan felt like crying just hearing these words. All he really has ever wished for was a caring and gentle father, just like how Hyunjin's dad seemed to be. He smiled, thanking them again.
