Chan's hand started shaking more at the contact, but he held it more tightly for it to stop, rubbing circles against its back "I know your trust is broken, but for the sake of your own self, just allow me to see your stomach Channie, please."
The older seemed to always be reacting with big shining eyes whenever he used that nickname which he used to call him in the past. So he decided that maybe, bringing up memories from that time would help too.
He hated it, remembering those times they were close. Remembering those times he thought he and Chan were meant to be. Now knowing that that isn't true, he couldn't help but hate thinking back to those times. But for now, it was necessary. If he didn't get bandages on Chan's stomach as soon as possible, who knows what might happen.
"Hey,.." He continued to softly rub circles against the older's hand "...remember that time we were together, you know... that particular first night?"
The boy looked at him, shocked at the fact that he was mentioning this, hissing at the intense pain he felt from abruptly moving his head, but blushing nonetheless at that memory.
"I told you to get ready and when I came back... you had the cutest hoodie on. It looked so soft on you, so adorable and I didn't even know where you had gotten it from. So, how about once we're finished, and I promise I'll make it quick, I give you one of my hoodies to warm up and feel safe in again mhm?"
The older kept blushing more and more as he listened, unintentionally crying more just thinking back. He bit down his bottom lip, contemplating. It was obvious he had to do this, it was just a matter of when. And so after a few moments, he looked at Hyunjin with those scared eyes, nodding so lightly that it was almost unnoticeable. One second after however, he looked away, not being being able to look at the younger anymore.
"Hey look at me." Hyunjin whispered softly when the boy looked away, making him look back and as soon as he did, he continued talking in the most gentle way possible, making Chan's heart skip a beat just at these two simple words "Good Boy."
Hyunjin let go of him and went over to the drawer to get the first aid kit, before coming back and sitting down right where he was before. He would always say what he was about to do next outloud to make sure Chan doesn't get scared or flinch away.
"I'll take your shirt off now okay?"
The older nodded sheepishly, yet he was still holding down his shirt. Hyunjin put his hands on top of his own, giving him a warm, reassuring smile.
"Trust me, just this one more time."
Chan finally took his hands away, though shakily and still afraid, but he felt safe enough to finally let Hyunjin do his job. It was also because the pain was slowly getting too strong to even bare.
The younger took ahold of his shirt and very slowly started taking it off. He gasped as that big cut across half of Chan's stomach came into his sight after he had thrown the shirt to the side.
It wasn't deep enough to need any stitches, but deep enough for it not to be able to heal on its own and stop bleeding.
"How did this happen?!" He asked, his voice shaking but he was trying to stay as calm as possible as he reached over to the first aid kit and opened it.
"N-not i-important.." Chan answered and Hyunjin couldn't help but get annoyed deep down. He didn't show it, but he wished that for once, Chan would simply comunicate with him and explain what was going on.
He just smiled as he stood up to get a cloth with cold water. When he came back, he saw how uncomfortable Chan seemed to be, trying to hide as much of his torso as possible. Shaking, not because it was cold, but because he was still scared of Hyunjin physically hurting him.
