[A Few Months Later]

"Shh Binnie, it's okay.." Chan whispered as he tried to calm his friend down who was sobbing and crying his eyes out.

"N-No matter what I do, o-one of them will be hurt Chan!"

The older sighed. After Jeongin and Minho had broken up quite a while ago, things have been developing even quicker between Changbin and Minho. And it wasn't really a positive development; causing the relationship between Jisung and Changbin to slowly fall apart.

They've been fighting a lot for months, barely seeing each other and not living in the same dorm anymore.

In general, Jisung has been disappearing a lot, especially this past month. Chan had probably only seen him once, and that was coincidently as the younger was picking up some books from the library.

"You're right." He responded honestly "Somebody will definitely get hurt."

Chan sat down next to him on the park bench and made him look up and back into his eyes "So since one person will be hurt anyway, no matter what you do, I think the right thing to do is to choose the person you truly love."

He pointed with his index finger to the boy's heart, a soft smile on his face "Listen to your heart. Who's it beating for?"

The younger pouted such an adorable little saddened smile "I- I'm not sure..."

"Binnie, be honest with yourself." Chan spoke calmly "There's no point in lying to yourself. I support you no matter which decision you make okay? Don't be worried about disappointing me or any other of our friends. Only think about yourself, listen to your heart."

The boy nodded shily, feeling more embarrassed about crying infront Chan than about crying in a public place.

"So tell me, how do you feel about Minho?"

Chan watched with his own eyes as Changbin's face turned extremely red and he got even more shy, looking away in the matter of seconds. Chan already knew the boy's answer, he just wanted to hear it from him.

Minho. It has always been Minho, ever since the two have gotten to know each other years ago. Chan knew his friends. He knew how much of a hopeless romantic Minho is, and how Changbin can simply not resist older's charms.

Minho has always taken care of him, literally always. Before they dated, while they dated, even as they were breaking up, after they broke up, and even now years after. He's always been there, supportive, reassuring, his looks were simply breathtaking. Chan knew, there was no way Changbin could get over his past relationship with Minho.

Not because Jisung wasn't enough, not because he was a bad person, not because he's not taking care of Changbin, not because he's not handsome, or rich, or romantic. But simply, because he was the right person at the wrong time.
