Hyunjin came back into the room after about 10minutes, holding a bunch of different gummy-packs in his hands.
He quickly placed them on the bed, closed the door and went over to his closet to get himself a hoodie.
In the end, he choose a pastel green - minty one, put it over his shirt and placed the hood over his head, starting to feel warm and comfy.
Chan watched him as he walked back to him and climbed up the bed to sit next him, his eyes visibly glowing.
"What?" The younger laughed seeing that reaction, adjusting his position.
"Nothing, you just look handsome."
"Oh please." He chuckled again "Tell me something I don't know."
Chan just laughed and hit his upper arm, shuffling closer to him "Is it okay if I.. hug you a little?"
Hyunjin looked at him and blinked twice in confusion "Of course you can, we did say we were going to cuddle after all."
The older turned red from embaressment and looked down, fidgeting with his sweater paws "I-I'm s-sorry.. just wanted to make sure.."
The boy smiled and moved an arm around the other's back, pulling him in and closer that way, allowing him to lay his head against his chest "It's okay, don't apologize. I'll give you all the reassurance you need."
Chan took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he enjoyed the sweet scent of the other's perfume and his whole presence. He felt soft in that hoodie, warm and the arm he was keeping around the older's body just made him feel so safe and like he was finally at home again.
"So, what are you feeling like eating? I have bears, sour snakes, frogs and all of this other stuff. I really like the gummy frogs, wanna try them?" Hyunjin asked and Chan only hummed and nodded in response.
He chuckled, holding even tighter onto the boy as he reached over to grab the gummies "Are you feeling warm?"
"Mhm.."
With a smile, he opened the packaging and got out a little green gummy frog, reaching it over to Chan's mouth and allowing him to eat it. The boy was clutching onto Hyunjin's hoodie like a baby as he did so, cutely chewing onto the food.
"I like it, it has a nice taste to it!" He responded "But it's a little too soft for me."
"Seriously? The extra softness is what I like about them!"
"Yeah I'm more of the snakes or bears type of person." Chan chuckled, keeping on nuzzling himself against the boy as he was handed over some delicious looking gummy snakes.
Both of them slowly ate their gummies, holding each other close and slowly but surely starting to talk things out. They couldn't keep on staying silent anymore and hurting themselves and each other that way.
