  "I love you."

All the affirmation she needed- after all, she woke up to the familiar face, beaming excitedly as if waiting for her eyes to blink open.

At the very least, waking up to Lucas's face was all she needed to forget whatever'd happened the day before. It didn't mean she wasn't still infuriated, though. The very thought of a woman thrashing her father made her blood boil— he was the only family she had, after all. "I'm sorry... For yesterday," Athy took a look around, at the rest still flopping around in their futons.

The clock ticked to 8am, and on their last day of the trip, only packing for was needed. They had plenty of time.

"Sorry for what?" Lucas put his arm around her, pulling her close into his embrace. The warmth was all Athy could feel. "For throwing a tantrum," she mumbled against his chest. Nothing that happened the day before had really processed in her mind, honestly.

That woman chased behind them. And claimed to be Athy's mother.

Lucas cupped her cheeks, before pressing a soft chaste kiss onto her temple. "I wouldn't mind if you got a little selfish once in a while."

I must have saved the world in another life to have someone as sweet as him.

Athanasia sat up, crossing her legs while lost in thought. Lucas followed suit, before shifting her onto his lap, pulling her into his arms once again. "You don't seem okay."

  "I-I don't think I am."

Athy's mind swirled with the thoughts. Who was that lady? Who was she to mock, to talk about her father like that? No matter how she knew Claude wouldn't give two shits about someone bitching (are you guys okay with swearing in the story like this? T^T) about him,  she felt the indignance for him. He was her one and only Daddy. Surely he was overprotective and overbearing at times, she loved him so dearly.

So what if Diana was her mother?

"You're... Not going to find her, right?" Lucas rested his chin on her shoulder. "Please don't."

"I'm not," Athy looked up with a certain spark in her eyes, as if some kind of determination came over her. "I don't need a mother who abandoned me."

"That's my girl," Lucas nuzzled her cheek as they cuddled for a little while longer.

It was not before long that the alarm rang, with everyone jumping up and getting ready to leave. Those few days were more than crazy. For everyone at that.

Ijekiel'd gotten so much closer to the rest, especially Jennette, much to her pleasure. Lucas, at least, got his much awaited quality time with Athy. Tae Eun and Yoona; always in their own world.

The bus ride was long and bumpy; but mostly for Lucas. To his left, was the adorable blonde asleep on his shoulder. With Jennette asleep on her shoulder. To his right, however, was Tae Eun. Who was especially heavy at that. He would've blown the whole bus up into flames if he could, really, but it did give him a warm feeling in his chest.

  He had friends now.

"Hey, Daddy?" Athy called out after a long shower. She peeked from the small creak of his study door. "Ah, Princess," Claude sat up, settling his spectacles down. "What's up?"

Athanasia made a beeline for his lap, it was a long time since she got to sit on his lap. "Something bothering you?" She was already 17, yet still a child, always, a child in his eyes. Her father had to be the best there was in the world. "I just wanted to say that I love you."
