"Let your fingers do the rocking, and keep that G comin' all day long!"

Mellie snorted quietly next to Michael as they sat on her bed.

"G, G, G, G, G, G--good, stop." Jack Black looked around the room with a crazy look and asked, "Are there any drummers in the house?"

They were watching School of Rock on Mellie's laptop in her bed, which was sort of small for the two of them, but they managed. Michael was leaning up against the wall, but his head was tilted to the left as he looked down at the laptop. Mellie was sitting with her right shoulder on top of his left shoulder, and her body was relying on Michael's body to keep her from falling off the bed. The laptop was resting on their legs, half on Michael's and half on Mellie's.

The dialogue was interrupted by a grumbling. Mellie put a hand on her stomach and laughed softly before looking up at Michael.

"Sorry, that was my stomach."

Michael held his head up before rubbing the back of his neck, it was sore from the weird position it had been in. "It's fine. Are you hungry?"

Mellie looked back at the laptop before quietly saying, "Are you hungry?"

Michael laughed and shifted on the bed, the laptop falling completely onto Mellie's legs now. She paused the movie as Michael sat up, his arm on the wall to help him.

"A bit. But if you're really hungry, we should go out and get something."

Mellie closed the laptop once it began beeping. It was running out of battery anyway, and the outlet was all the way by her desk. Michael had been waiting for the moment that it would die and they would have had to sit on the floor and watch the movie together.

"Okay. You're the guest. Where do you want to go?"

"No pizza."

Mellie got off of the bed and walked towards the desk to charge the laptop. She snickered before turning around, looking for the cord on the desk like Velma looking for her glasses. "Are you getting tired of pizza?"

"No, I'm just in the mood for something else." Michael hopped off of the bed before fixing his tank top. He looked at Mellie as she plugged the laptop in. "How about McDonald's?"

"Sure. There's one a few blocks down, we can walk there." She had plugged the computer in successfully and backed away from the desk. "Is it cold out?"

Michael shifted awkwardly towards the door as she looked around the room for her jacket and a bag. He watched her trifle through a pile of clothes that was in front of her closet before finding nothing and going towards her bed.

"It's a bit chilly. And windy, but the sun's out."

Mellie looked up at him as she straightened her bed sheets out. She smiled before grabbing a bag from her bedside table and walking towards Michael to get to the bedroom door.

"Get your shoes on, Mickey. We're going to Mickey D's."

"I'm sort of tempted to go up and buy a sundae or a cone." Mellie glanced over at the cashier who was taking an order from an elderly man. She still had her burger in front of her, and she only ate half of her fries. Michael was practically done with her burger and fries meal, and they've only been sitting in McDonald's for three minutes.

Michael shoved eight fries in his mouth as Mellie stared at the cashier, a fry still in her hand. "If you buy one, I'll pay for you."

"No, it's alright." She turned back around to look at him. Once she turned around she remembered she was holding a fry and put it in her mouth.
