Michael and his friends sat in white uncomfortable chairs on the football field of Izzy and Mellie's school. The girls had said they don't need to all come, but everyone insisted on joining since they were the six best friends that could never be separated.

Michael and his mom sat next to Mellie's mom, while Luke and his parents sat next to Izzy's parents and siblings. The speeches had taken forever and were quite boring. The valedictorian was the living definition of a nerd, literally every stereotype rolled into one. His speech was the most boring, and Calum almost booed him.

The day before had been their school's prom, but the girls insisted on going to the boys' prom for various reasons. Michael knew that it was going to be a waste going to prom anyway because he knew how lame dances were. They'd all end up leaving early and doing something else while the girls dragged their prom dresses around.

When Michael asked Mellie out to prom, he knew he had to do something special for her after everything he's put her through. So he ended up spending hours on the rooftop of her apartment, she didn't know he was there, writing "Prom?" with spider webs. Then he took her around town and made Calum and Ashton 'attack' them on the way back. So he turned into Spiderman and they caught a ride back there from a helicopter--Mellie wasn't so thrilled by that. But they flew over the apartment, and she realized what was going on. She obviously said yes.

"Mary Elizabeth Blitz," the man on stage called. Mellie stood up from her seat and walked towards the man to accept her diploma. Michael and everyone else started to clap and shout at her while her mother stood up from her chair to get a good picture. She smiled at the crowd, specifically Michael, before going back to her seat.

They went through the alphabet, which took forever. Luke kept squirming around in his chair as he waited for them to call his girlfriend's name. His mom kept telling him to stop hitting her leg with his knee.

Michael and Mellie stared at each other throughout the ceremony. They would make stupid faces back and forth. This caught Ashton's attention, so he started to record the two of them and would zoom in on each other's faces. It was truly horrific. Everyone else in the audience either didn't notice, was confused, or turned back to stare at Michael.

"Izabella Ortiz," the man called once again. Luke stood up from his chair and clapped furiously. His chair almost fell backwards onto the person in the row behind it, but his father managed to catch it before it did. Izzy's parents clapped proudly and her mom struggled to take a good photo. She ended up handing the camera to Luke, who took the picture with no problem.

At the end, they switched the tassels on their hats. Everyone applauded, and Michael was very upset when he didn't get to see a ton of hats thrown in the air. His school was restricting that too for some reason, but he had been hoping to see it here.

Families met all over the football stadium once the ceremony was over. Some people left right away because they were going on vacation right after, or they had some special dinner to attend. Michael and everyone else stood near the stands where nobody else was.

The girls met them there with wide smiles on their faces. Izzy ran towards Luke, which was a bit hard because she was wearing tall heels that would sink into the fake grass, and kissed him in front of everyone. Mellie walked towards Michael calmly while still radiating pure happiness.

"Heyo," Michael said with a smile. He handed a bouquet of blue and red roses to her with a shy smile. His cheeks turned pink as he heard a camera snap a few feet over. "Congratulations."

She took the flowers in her arms and leaned over carefully so they wouldn't touch Michael. She gave him a quick peck on the lips and smiled at him, her pupils dilating once more. "Thank you, Michael."
