"Oh Ben there you are , you have to get ready for Cotillion look" the king took a quick look at Jane's arrangements.
"I'll catch up with you, go and prepare" Jane nodded as a response and went inside the castle.
The Cotillion's just around the corner and they have to prepare for it especially Ben as he is the one who'll honor everyone tonight for being a loyal part of Auradon.
"We should get ready too Eve" Mal grabbed her best friend's arm trying to comfort her.
The blunette looked bothered at the fact that her lover hasn't come back yet to Auradon ever since the chaos in Arendelle occurred.
"It's been two days Mal, he can't stay in Arendelle nor the isle" Evie spoke in a low tone not wanting anyone to hear their conversation outside.
The purple haired dragged both of theirselves inside their dorms and sat down on their beds trying to talk it all out.
"You haven't notice it but he was acting a little strange when we first came to Arendelle" Evie let out a loud sigh while saying those.
Mal listened and told her to continue what she doesn't know. She wouldn't want to see her best friend pressuring herself just because something is bothering her alone.
"Ben also noticed this and he said that Zev was just trying to protect the Princess but I saw something in his eyes, something was missing" thoughts got the best of Evie as she mentally broke down and cried her eyes out from it.
"Shush it's okay, calm down he must've been just protecting all of us from getting harmed by the Princess you know" Mal assurred the crying Evie beside her.
She hugged her until she let it all out, the bad pressure she's been keeping inside her and let it out by breathing calmly.
"You don't think he's in love with her in just a day right? he wouldn't do something like that to you E, if you could see the way he looks at you is a proof that Zev's madly in love with you" it was the best advice Mal could give her for now.
She just wanted to yank her best friend's insecurities away so she could stay calm and to not worry about it all the time.
"He'll come back soon and we're all sure he won't let you go dateless" Mal playfully rolled her eyes earning a soft chuckle from the blunette princess.
"You're right I trust him like how I trust all of you, I just hope it won't happen" Evie hugged Mal one more time before standing up and get theirselves ready for the Cotillion.
The two gorgeous VKs tried on their gowns and even teased each other of how they look inside their dorm.
They both twirled around wearing their outfits and laughed at how silly they look but both looking amazing.
Both VKs stopped when they heard a knock from the door whislt Mal opened it revealing Jay and Carlos.
The two boys were in their tourney shirts when they arrived at the girl's dorms. They must been practicing since Jay is now the team captain and he wanted for Carlos to be trained well.
