Eda Pov:
It was a nice, quiet evening today. I was enjoying a nice cup of apple blood while laying out in the sun on my chair. It was peaceful for once.
That is... until it was ruined.
I heard someone call out to me as they ran closer to the owl house, making me jolt and groan as I spilled some of my apple blood. I looked up to see who could do such a thing to me, only to see Luz being carried by the plant girl and the little blight. And by the looks of it it wasn't good. Luz had bits of ice freezing over her form, and was slowly spreading.
I jumped up and ran over to help. "What the heck happened?!"
"We'll explain when we get inside, just get her some place warm so the ice can start melting." Blight panted. I nodded and helped them inside, then layed the human on the couch next to the fireplace and started a fire for her.
"Now, do one of you wanna tell me what's going on?"
The Blight girl sighed, and ran a hand through her pink locks before speaking. "So you remember when me and Luz had to go into Willow's mind to fix what I- ...What I messed up?"
I looked over to the plant witchling, who gave a sympathetic smile and patted Blight on the shoulder in forgiveness. I looked back to her and nodded. "So it's the same thing then? But with ice?"
Amity nodded in response. "Then who did this to her? Ooo, when I find them, ima make sure that-!"
"She did it to herself..." Willow interrupted, making me pause for a long moment before looking back to the human at hand.
"....Whatever it was, must've been a bad memory then." I said with concern, placing a hand on Luz's forehead. She was freezing, which wasn't good. If she stayed like this for long, she wouldn't be the same again.
"Well, since I can't do magic, I'm gonna have to teach one of you to do the spell and I'll go with whoever doesn't learn it."
The two witchlings looked to each other, having some sort of silent conversation before Willow raised her hand. "I'll learn it."
"Great! Let's go then, quickly."
We went outside so I could teach her, then when I thought she was capable enough to cast it and bring us back, we went back inside.
"Now remember, if you hear this bell, bring us out. Alright?"
The plant girl nodded and I took hold of Blight's hand before giving a nod for her to go ahead. She took a break, then cast the spell, pulling us into Luz's mind.
It was dark at first, but everything flashed forward to a large landscape filled with trees that had frames in the middle of them all. Except in this forest of memories, the landscape was bitter cold and covered with ice and snow.
"Titan, it's freezing!" Amity huffed out and rubbed her arms while looking around. I observed one of the frozen over pictures, squinting my eyes at it while humming in thought. It was a picture of Luz when she was younger it seemed, though she was on the ground with one of her arms up in defense from a group of three other kids standing over her. They seemed like they were laughing at her, not with her.
"...She didn't wanna talk about the photos that she had pulled out back in class." The Blight said sadly while coming up next to me to look as well.
"Looks like it was personal stuff.." I muttered, then turned to the witchling. "Right, so how did you fix Willow last time, then?"
"Well, we had to actually go through the picture to get inside the memory itself, then we would fix whatever was broken or messed up before getting zapped back out."
