It's been a long time since I slept this well. It felt even better waking up with Damien beside me. I didn't want to wake him cause he looked so peaceful asleep, so I slowly unwrapped myself from his arm and tiptoed toward the bathroom to take a quick shower.

When I got out to get dressed, he was still asleep. I thought about waking him, but it seemed like he needed to sleep in once in a while. I entered the kitchen, and Amelia and Eudora sat at the table, eating some eggs.

"Mommy!" Eudora shouted, jumping out of her seat and wrapping her tiny arms around my legs. I picked her up and showered her with kisses. "Is the Lobo awake? Can I play with him, please?"

"No, Eudora. I already told you he's not a pet." I pitched her little cheek.

"He just smells like one." Amelia huffed, sipping on some coffee.

"Amelia, be nice, please." I groaned, setting Eudora back in her chair. "And you need to finish your huevitos, okay? And then maybe I'll ask him to play with you, okay?"

"What's up with you?" Amelia asked, eyeing me up and down. "Did you get laid?"

"I wish." I groaned, pouring myself some coffee.

"I know that feeling," Amelia muttered, sipping her coffee. Amelia and I haven't had sex in so long. Months I think? I didn't find her attractive sexually. Damien explained to me that he also felt the same about his ex-girlfriends. He says that's probably why his relationships never lasted. Amelia needed to realize that this wasn't my fault. The Moon Goddess wanted us to be together, and we couldn't help but be attracted to each other.

"I'm kind of nervous for the wedding." I sighed, sitting beside Eudora, finishing her eggs that she didn't want anymore.

"Well, I would say blend in, but you're a brown skin human with red hair in a place full of white people who just happen to be all wolves." Amelia laughed. "You stick out like a sore thumb."

"You're supposed to be helping!" I whined, pouring myself more coffee.

"Is Damien awake yet?" Amelia asked. I shook my head. "Cause his cousin came by earlier today and said he wanted to talk to him. Damien blocked off his mind link."

"I can wake him," I said. I wanted him to sleep in, though; we still had five hours until the wedding began.

"Nah. Let the dog sleep." Amelia shrugged. "Eudora can wake him up later 'cause she wants to play with him."

"I'm kind of surprised Eudora knew Damien was a wolf," I said as I finished eating her eggs.

"She probably has a six sense or something," Amelia answered. "Or maybe he just stinks like a wolf?"

"He doesn't stink, Amelia. He happens to smell very good." I frowned at her.

"To you." She rolled her eyes at me. I gave her a disapproved look and grabbed Eudora by her hand.

"I'm going to take her a bath. If Damien wakes up, try to be nice." I sighed. Their rivalry was getting on my nerves.

"I'll try." She waved at Eudora as I walked away.

"Ready to take a bath?" I asked Eudora as I led her into the bathroom.

"Yes!" She yelled, excited.
