"What is that smell?" Asked Damien when he got out of the shower. Amelia and I were in the kitchen drinking coffee.

"That's just Nexy," Amelia said casually. I rolled my eyes at her snarky remark.

"I made breakfast," I replied, sipping on my coffee. "Amelia and I went into town earlier today while you and Eudora slept. I hope that was okay."

"That's fine. But what kind of breakfast? It stinks." He said. Eudora was crawled up in his arms when Amelia and I returned. She only woke up cause she was hungry.

"It's menudo—my dad's cure for hangovers. Trust me. It's so good."

"And you better eat it. Otherwise, she'll force it down your throat." Amelia mumbled.

"That's not true. But I'll be very sad and hurt." I pouted.

"I mean, you're already a depressed bitch. You can't get worse than that." Amelia shrugged.

"Really, Amelia?" I sighed, serving him a plate.

"It's soup? I don't think I ever had soup for breakfast. And what kind of meat is this? It's squishy." He asked, looking very concerned. He's a wolf. Wolves eat meat. Why is he complaining about my damn food?

"Just eat the soup!" I yelled at him when I saw him poking the meat. "Amelia will keep an eye on you to make sure you finish it all while I take Eudora a little bath. She spilled soup all over her."

"I'm sorry, Mommy." Eudora giggled. "Mommy Amelia made me do it."

"Don't blame this on me. I was talking to your mommy this whole time." Amelia huffed.

"Uh oh, Eudora. Damien isn't going take you out for ice cream for lying." I said, picking her up.

"I'm sorry, Mommy," Eudora said, wrapping her little arms around my neck and covering my shirt with Menudo sauce.

"Looks like mommy is going to need a shower too." I sighed, carrying her to the bathroom.

I helped Eudora bathe and threw her dirty clothes and my shirt in the washing machine. It was nice that they washing machines in these little cabins. They came in handy.

Once Eudora finished her bath, I picked out Eudora's clothes, and she dressed herself. After that, it was my turn for a shower. When I finished, I went into the living room to put some cartoons for Eudora. I usually didn't let her watch TV, but I needed to keep her occupied while I talked to Damien and Amelia.

"Damien told me about the crazy chick claiming to be his mate." Amelia laughed.

"You met her?" I asked him, pouring myself more coffee and sitting down beside Amelia.

"It's Hannah. My sister's friend." Damien replied, grabbing my cup of coffee and drinking it. I immediately frowned.

"I remember Hannah," I said, pouring myself another cup. "I thought you only drink water or whiskey." I laughed.

"I needed something to wash down the taste of this." He laughed, sipping on my coffee. "And I can't drink whiskey for a while after yesterday."

"Alright then. You can cook for yourself from now on." I huffed, making myself a third cup.

"I usually have maids who cook for me," Damien replied.

Amelia and I both looked at him and rolled our eyes. "Must be nice to have all that money," I muttered, recalling when I was little, and we could barely afford to eat sometimes.

"It is very nice to have a lot of money. You should try it sometime." He teased me. "If you don't believe me, ask Amelia. Her family is also very wealthy."
