Eren had decided once and for all that he didn’t like parties. He was seated on a couch, his friends drunk next to him. He hadn’t even wanted to come. It was Sasha who had eventually dragged his ass there. He sipped at his cheap beer and sat bored. The biggest reason for Eren not wanting to come was because he’d see Levi there. No matter how big these parties were he always managed to run into him, and over the past two weeks since he’d seen Levi at the coffee shop, he’d spent a good amount of time avoiding him. He’d done well too; he hadn’t even seen Levi, except for boxing. Which of course was an impossible task to avoid him there, unless he quit, and there was no way he would do that. But he did not want to see Levi at this party; he did not want to be put in a social situation with him. Sasha put her hand on Eren’s shoulder.
“Are you having fun?”
“Hmm” he didn’t really answer.
“What you need is another drink,” she laughed, climbing over him to get off the couch. He watched as she walked off to get him a drink. He looked around the room. That had been a big mistake. He made eye contact with Levi on the other side of the room, sitting on the arm of a couch next to Petra, there was a blond boy with long hair next to him. His expression seemed neutral enough, when he leaned over to Petra and pulled her up, kissing her. Eren’s breath caught in his throat and rage filled him. Eren wanted to turn away, but he couldn’t. He was frozen with shock. The anger Eren felt against Levi had been tripled. How could he do this to him? At that moment Sasha came back with the drinks.
“Oops, sorry” she said spilling a bit of the beer onto him. Eren didn’t reply. He was too fixated on Levi. Sasha looked where he was looking and turned back to Eren.
“Did you want some help with that?” her tone was completely serious.
“What?”
“I mean I know you like boys and everything, but I’m open to help with a bit of revenge.” She raised her eyebrows at him.
“What are you talking about?” Sasha sighed dramatically.
“Just come here,” she said motioning for him to stand up. She handed the drinks to Armin. And looped her fingers through the loops in his jeans.
“Now I’m going to kiss you and you’re going to pretend to like it.” She whispered in his ear.
“Sasha-“ But she cut him off putting her mouth to his. She tasted like alcohol, but he probably did too. He understood what she’d meant now; they were giving Levi a taste of his own medicine. He lifted his hands to her waist and pulled her into him. Her hands went around his neck. Eren couldn't help but think that kissing a girl felt weird, it was probably the reason he was gay in the first place. When they pulled apart he looked at Levi who was sitting with his jaw clenched, staring right at the two of them. If Levi could play games, so could Eren.
“You’re welcome,” She laughed looking at Levi and winking at him. Eren smirked and leant into Sasha.
“I think our drinks are gone, I’ll get us some more.” He walked over to where all the drinks were being kept and pulled two beers out of the fridge. When he turned around, Petra was standing there sheepishly.
“Eren can I talk to you about something for a second?”
“Uh, yeah sure. What’s up?”
“Not here” she said peering over her shoulder.
The two had walked into a bedroom and Petra closed the door.
“What did you want to talk to me about?” He asked sitting on the bed. Petra sat down next to him.
