Isla and the other girl, who she learned was named Bonnie, had been studying spells for what seemed like hours. Bonnie had found a spell, but she was unsure of whether she could perform it or not. After a while, Klaus strode in, looking impatient.
"Tick tock. I should hear chanting by now." Bonnie sighed.
"Im still studying the unlinking spell. It's not that easy, especially under duress." Klaus put his hands on the couch behind Bonnie, leaning closer to her.
"You've been warned. If you're looking for a way to send help, I will kill anyone who comes to your rescue." Bonnie sighed, and pointed to a page from her grimoire.
"This is the spell. I just don't know if I'm strong enough." She stood up and walked to the other side of the room.
"Then you should have a little more faith in yourself, Bonnie. Especially since you have another witch to help you." He gestured to Isla, who nodded and went back to reading the spell. "Your energy helped my mother link us. Honestly, I think someone isn't trying very hard." Bonnie sneered. "Very well." He pulled out his phone and called a number. "Kol. How's the weather up there in mile high city? And how's our friend?" He turned to Bonnie. "That's him." He showed Bonnie what was on the phone. "There's Jeremy. Playing fetch with his new puppy." Bonnie was obviously upset. "Isn't that just the most adorable thing you've ever seen?" He went back to the phone and hung up. Isla shot Bonnie a sympathetic look. "So, Bonnie. How about that spell?" Bonnie reluctantly agreed. Klaus left the room, and Isla followed him out.
"Hey, Nik. What was that?" Klaus turned to face his younger sister.
"I was providing her with a little incentive. She needed the boost." Isla folded her arms.
"So you decided to threaten someone close to her?" Klaus shrugged.
"Times have changed, little sister. If you want to get something done, you need to act." He turned back around. Isla rolled her eyes and went back to looking at the spell.
Eventually, Klaus returned. A scream was heard from the other room. Bonnie's eyes darted to the source of the noise.
"Who was that?" Klaus leaned against the doorframe.
"I wouldn't let that bother you, love." Bonnie sighed.
"Well it does bother me. You bother me. The way you use people to get what you want. It's not right." Klaus brought his hand to his chest.
"You're being emotional, Bonnie. I understand that things have been rough for you. You know, with your mother leaving. Again." He stepped closer to her. "It's very sad. I can help you find her, if you want. I have people who can find people. I could bring her back to you. Or if you choose, I can just bring parts of her back." Isla scoffed. "But isn't it obvious that I'm just going to continue to hurt the people you love until you do the spell. Now, I know it's in the grimoire, and I know it requires the blood of my siblings. So, here we are." He brought over a case with four vials of blood. "Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, Finn." He then bit into his hand, dropping blood. "Where do you want us?"
Bonnie sighed, and after a while, grabbed a cup from the table and held it under Klaus's hand. The blood spilled into the cup.
She placed the cup back on the table, and Isla walked over. They both began pouring the vials of blood into the cup and started chanting. Bonnie poured the blood onto the table while the two kept chanting. They grabbed each other's hands so that the spell would flow more easily through them.
Klaus walked around the table, watching the blood spread out into five directions. The flames on the candles burned higher.
All of a sudden, Isla felt off. An image flashed in her mind. Finn laying on the ground, desiccating. A wooden stake in his heart. She cried out and let go of Bonnie's hands. Klaus looked at her.
"What are you doing? Finish the spell." Isla held onto her head. Bonnie sighed.
"The spell is done." Klaus kept his eyes on Isla. He then brought Bonnie out of the room. Isla stumbled over to the couch. She closed her eyes. Rebekah walked by the room and noticed Isla.
"You alright?" Isla sat up, her hands still on her head.
"Something's wrong." She looked up at Rebekah. "It's Finn."
