Sapnap POV
We finish up our hot chocolates after making smaller conversation.
I didn't mean to nearly cause an argument with him but I was glad that because of it we managed to talk.
I didn't like to argue with him but I did miss our usual disagreements that would cause the others to have to calm us down.
We were both still slightly shivering from being damp but it had finally stopped raining.
The waitress takes our empty glasses since I had finished the little bit George had left.
We get up from our seats and make our way out the door.
I check the time to see it was half 7 in the morning with missed calls from Karl and Dream.
"Do you want to start heading back or not? Our clothes are still soaked" I ask.
"Yeah I don't feel like walking around anymore, I'm tired" He says and I turn to look at him.
He looked drained and cold with the hoodie sleeves covering his hands completely.
I type a quick message to Karl letting him know George was with me and that we were heading home before putting my phone back into my hoodie.
"Jump on my back I'll carry you"
"No it's alright you don't have to"
"It's fine George" I say as I lower myself down for him to jump.
He does so and I get a grip on him, his arms wrapping around my neck and his head resting on my shoulder.
"Thank you" he mumbles.
"So what was Ranboo like?" I ask as I follow our footsteps back.
"He's tall and he's emotional like Tubbo, he doesn't like the water though, he's actually scared of it"
"He sounds nice"
"Yeah but only Schlatt knows where he is...If Tubbo or I left...Schlatt would keep his promise" He says, starting to slur his words as he was falling asleep.
"What did Schlatt promise?"
"If we leave.." he trails off.
"If you leave what?" I ask.
"Ranboo would pay the consequences"
The sentence sits in the air.
"What if I hurt him?" He asks, his voice breaking.
"George you're safe that's all that matters"
"I'm selfish, I saved myself and Tubbo and Ranboo is just out there somewhere"
"Is that what you think?" I ask, finally recognising where we were and followed the path that headed to the hotel.
He mumbles an agreement into my shoulder.
I couldn't even feel the tears that fell from his face onto my hoodie, I could only hear the faint sniffles.
"We're almost at the hotel" I say as I follow the last of the path into the hotel.
One of the workers held the door open for me to join them.
"Thank you"
"No problem" They smile and I step in.
"What floor?" They ask.
