George POV:
Drinks were laid out on the table, alongside cups and a few snacks placed in bowls. Pillows from the bedrooms and sofa scattered across the living room floor.
Music played in the background, a playlist mixed of all their favourite music they shared. It was finally time to properly celebrate their newfound success and their new lives.
They didn't get fully dressed up but they dressed in clothes nicer than the usual sweats and hoodies. By wearing cleaner sweats and hoodies.
The floor was comfortable with the mix of pillows and a couple blankets. It felt homely having everyone in the same vicinity.
There was no stress, no pressure, no unsolved problems. Just them. Us.
"Anyone want to do shots with me?" Sapnap asks as he opens the packs of shot glasses. "Let's do it" I smile, watching him pour out 4 shots each. He passes me 2, giving the other 2 to Dream.
He done the same for him and Karl as he sat back down. "Okay, 3..2..1..Drink" Quackity counts down and I throw the fruity liquid down my throat.
It burned the back of my throat but I didn't dwell on it as the second, third and fourth went down with ease.
I looked over at Sap taking his last one, pulling a face but having fun nonetheless.
"WOO lets fucking GO" He cheered, raising his empty shot glass. "We're young and we're living, and we're with George" He smiles.
"To George" he raises his cup as everyone does the same, parroting his words and taking a sip.
I cozy up to Dream, smiling up at him as he smiles back.
"Life is so crazy" Quackity laughs as the others join in.
"Well it's much better with all of you" Bad smiles.
"Okay Bad don't go all cringy on us" Sapnap smiles back.
"Hey! I'm being nice you muffin head" He says.
I shake my head at my friends childish behaviour, looking back at Dream who was still staring at me.
"Creep" I smile, rolling my eyes at him.
I look back at him noticing he was still staring.
"Idiot, don't stare at me" I say, taking a sip of my drink as my cheeks heat up.
"Why not?" He asks. "Because I said so" I shrug.
"But I like looking at you"
"Stop it" I smile.
"You're beautiful"
"Clay" I warn.
"I can't help it" He says, placing a hand on my cheek and holding my head up to look at him.
"I could stare at you forever and never get bored. You're so fascinating to me" he smiles, his eyes scanning over my face.
"I don't think It's physically possible to love anyone as much as I love you" He says, his eyes meeting mine.
I reach up and press our lips together, feeling the heat radiating from it before I pull away slowly.
I keep my face close to his, my eyes finding his, seeing nothing but love and adoration in them.
"I love you Dream" I smile, watching his eyes fill with surprise before he kisses me again.
"I love you too George" His smile was giddy, Sapnap screaming again as he raises his cup.
"GEORGE SAID THE L WORD" He smiled, clearly happy he got to witness the moment.
I laugh at his stupidness before looking back at Dream, a huge smile plastered on his face.
I'm so ready for the future.
