Enzo, Damon, Aaron and I are all still sitting in the classroom. Stefan went to talk to Wes about giving giving over Elena and I still haven't gotten a call from Klaus yet so I guess that everything is going good. The guys and I all sit in the chairs of the classroom as Enzo begins telling his story. "Damon and I had been locked in those cells for years, tortured, beaten, humiliated, but we weren't gonna let them break us, no. We decided if were going to escape, we needed to work 'together'." He puts emphasis on the word 'together' implying sarcasm to Damon. "We needed each other."

Stefan then enters the classroom. "He's not sending her."

"Tragic. Can I continue my story now, please?" Enzo implies towards the brother and I laugh quietly.

Damon ignores what Enzo said, and begins talking to Stefan. "Doesn't he know we have Aaron?"

"He doesn't care. He's willing to risk it." Stefan says and I twirl a piece of my hair.

Aaron looks at Damon and Stefan. "What? Let me go talk to him! He'll listen to me."

I notice how Enzo jumps off the desk. "What part of 'he doesn't care' are you not registering?" Damon tells the kid and Enzo gets pissed off of being ignored, makes a scene to get attention by ripping a classroom chair from the floor and throwing it out the window.

"Where were we? Uh, ah, right. I was telling my story, and you were all politely listening. Huh?" He walks back to the front of the room.

"You are so dramatic." I mumbled as I pick up a pencil and bounce it up and down by the eraser.

"Anyways, so I'd given Damon all of my blood ration so he'd have the strength to escape and save me in the process. Our plan began perfectly, didn't it? They let Damon out of the cage. I was waiting in the cage for him to release me, waiting for my friend, my cellmate, the only soul with whom I'd connected with in all those years of captivity. A candelabra fell, starting the fire at the New Years Eve party. I was  so terrified inside the cage. When the fire started, the burns were  out of control, but Damon just can't get the damn cage open. The bars were laced with vervain. He looks me in the eye as if he doesn't even recognize me, turns around, saves himself, leaving me to die."

"Well, you didn't die, obviously." I mumbled, but then it hit me. "It actually wasn't his fault, he's a vampire who can't touch vervain. But Damon at the same time you could've grabbed a cloth or something."

"She's right I suppose, but unfortunately I lived. I was spared by one of the scientists so I could spend another fifty years on a table being opened and closed. Now that we've all been acquainted, I'm gonna find something to wet my whistle."

"I could wet your whistle." I smirk at the Augenstein Vampire and he smirks at me as he leaves the classroom.

Stefan looks at Damon. "You didn't tell me about him."

"It was the 1950s. I'm supposed to remember every moment of my life?" I notice how Damon started to change the subject. "Do you want to kill Aaron, or should I? Maybe crazy Maddie can do it."

"This guy was your cellmate for five years, you left him to die, he comes back, and you're completely unfazed?" Stefan says towards his brother and I get up from my seat.

Damon still talks about Aaron. "Fine. I will." He walks towards Aaron.

Aaron stands up scared. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Wes gave me a bunch of files on my family history. They're in my dorm, okay? Maybe there's something in there you need, a name, I mean, another lab."

"That's a timely revelation." I mumbled as I go to sit on the teachers desk.

"Yeah. Well, you know, he's not gonna help me, why should I help him?"
