"Elena, there are children present." I hear Damon say as I walk into his bed room.

"Fine." Elena pulls the collar of his shirt down to reveal the wound on his shoulder, it was a werewolf bite. He cringes in pain. "Damon, why isn't this healed?"

"Because the bullet was laced with werewolf venom, okay? The hunters are dicks."

Elena turns away and starts pacing. "We need Klaus. We need his blood. Maybe we could call Maddison to get to him."

"Klaus would rather see me die, and Maddison doesn't even like you. Plus, Klaus is a thousand miles away sipping Hurricanes on Bourbon Street."

"Well, Damon is right I don't like you, but I'm glad that your humanity it back." I say from the door and the room go silent. "Wow, tough crowd."

"I thought you left to go and play mommy?" Damon says as he pulls his collar back up.

"I'm not playing Damon, I went to do something your mother probably never did."

"And what's that?"

"Drop everything for you." He looks hurt by my words and I smile. "It's okay Damon. I have some unfinished business here so I figured, why not head back to the Falls. Now would anyone like to explain to me why I just ran into, two dead people downstairs?" I look over and see Jeremy. "Make that three, nice to see you again hunter."

"Hiya Maddison, thanks for trying to save me back at that cave."

"It's my specialty to help people that I like." I wink at him and he smiles.

"Bonnie dropped the vail to the other side and it goes back up tonight. Look, that wound will kill Damon. Can you call Klaus down here?" Elena asked and I look down to the floor. "What's wrong?"

"Klaus and I broke up." I mumbled and the room went quiet one again. I can't believe those words even came out of my mouth. "I called it quits with him last night."

"Maddison..."

"Don't okay, I just wanna walk across that stage and then talk to Bonnie about a problem of mines." I walk over and look at his wound. "Maybe the cure could work?"

"Maddison's right. If you're human, the werewolf venom won't hurt you." Elena panics as she try to explain to the Salvatore.

"And here I was, so moved by your speech to save mankind." I notice how Damon starts listening to something downstairs. "Sounds like Vaughn's awake."

He walks past Elena. "Damon, wait."

I follow behind him as he go downstairs, Vaughn is facing Stefan and Lexi when Damon and I enters behind him. Vaughn turns around. "Here." He tosses the cure to Vaughn, who catches it.

"The hell are you doing?" Stefan ask his brother quite upset.

"Digging up Silas." He turns and walks to the front door. "You coming, Vaughn, or not?" Vaughn follows Damon out the front door; Elena arrives just as the door shuts. She turns to Stefan, Lexi and I, speechless.

"I'll be upstairs." Lexi starts to leave but she looks at me. "Nice to see you again Maddison."

"Always a pleasure Lexi." I wink at the beautiful blonde as she heads up the stairs.

Elena starts pacing while discussing with Stefan and I what to do next. "We have to do something. If those hunters give the cure to Silas–"

"They're not giving it to Silas. Wherever Damon is taking Vaughn right now, it's to stall, because Damon hasn't had time to bury Silas' body yet." Elena stops pacing. "And that's all you need to know right now." Stefan explains to the doppelgänger and I just sit there confused as hell. I seriously missed a lot.
