I watch her as she walks up the stone steps that lead to her shared room. The way she walks with such confidence. On anyone else, I would call that confidence arrogance. But not her. She carries her power like a crown.

And I have use of that power.

That is why I will allow her to get away with this. If anyone else pulled a dagger on me, they would be dead before they could even blink once more, and though I have a strong urge to remind her of her place, I am not foolish enough to allow my anger to destroy an opportunity that could very well help me in achieving my goal.

To become the most powerful dark wizard in history.

Bringing my hand up to my neck, I feel the crimson dripping from the cut she made with her dagger. My head tilts in fascination when I bring my hand away from my neck and into my line of sight. Nobody has ever made me bleed before...

      Now she has.

That cannot go unpunished. I may not be able to punish her, but I can surely punish the one who caused this.

      Rosier.

I heal the wound on my neck before turning around and making my way out of the Slytherin common room. Making my way through and out of the dungeons, I head towards the library, which is where I am sure Rosier is. We both have this period free. I spend it in the common room. He spends it in the library reading books that are of no use to anyone. I fill my mind with knowledge whereas he fills his with putrid romance. Why he does it is a question I will never attempt to answer. Or ask.

I clasp my hands behind my back when I enter the library, heading to the very back. Surely enough, Rosier is sitting on one of the leather sofas, a book in hand.

      "Rosier."

His eyes shoot up when he hears my voice and he immediately puts the book down, giving full attention to me. "Come with me," I order, turning around to leave the library, leaving no room for argument. Not that he would argue. He knows better than to do that. They all do.

      Except her.

I will have to change that... I don't know how with that vow, but she was right when she said that I would find a way around it.

I already have a good idea of how to do that.

I make my way to the room of requirement, which is empty when I enter it as nobody that knows about it is allowed inside without my explicit permission. Rosier follows closely behind me. He steps inside the room, closing the door behind him with a wordless spell. "Is there something I can do for you?" he asks, his eyebrows slightly furrowed as to why I brought him here during school hours.
