At Zhèngzhí University

"Mister Class President, I know you don't like the idea of having a school winter camp. But, we decided to propose this again, maybe you'll change your mind."

One of the officers spoke, presenting his project. The others agreed in harmony as they sat still on their seats to wait for an answer.

"What do you think?"
Lan Xichen asked Lan Wangji. As the President of the whole university, he needs to ask for the opinion of his Vice President.

The Vice-president slowly lifted his head, looked at the presentation in front of him. His ice-cold eyes stare back at the presenter, and the presenter looked away, asking help from his co-members.

"We still have two months to prepare for this, and... And we can still make it possible."
The presenter spoke again with fidgeting hands. It was his second time presenting this proposal to the board. The first one was not successful because their Vice-president didn't agree to it. But the whole campus requested it, and as a project manager, he needs to at least try and ask the higher-ups for a reconsideration.

If it's for Lan Xichen, they would have a positive response to the proposal. However, dealing with the younger brother is another thing. He always opposes their every project, and if they can only impeach him, they have long done it. But no one is qualified other than him to be in that position, so they don't have a choice but to endure it.

Lan Wangji clicked his pen, scan through the written document, and signed his name on it. All of the people inside the conference hall held their breaths as they await their decision.

"Done." Lan Wangji said and hand the paper to Lan Xichen. Lan Xichen also signed the paper and gave it to the presenter.

The officers cheered as their project manager raised a 'thumbs up'.

"Thank you so much! We'll make sure to make this project successful!"
The project manager bowed and the students clapped their hands.

Lan Wangji stood up and bow in respect. He left the conference room followed by Lan Xichen.

"Wangji, it's good that you agree with their proposal. I know you're mad about what happened last winter camp, but we need to give them a chance."
Lan Xichen spoke as they entered the cafeteria. It's lunchtime and they decided to eat after the meeting.

"Mn."
His response was cold yet Lan Xichen understood it very well.
Ever since they were young, he felt that his younger brother Lan Wangji live a life in solitude, even if he got the whole love from his whole family. Lan Xichen felt like this kid holds a lot of grudges and memories in his heart that he didn't dare talk about, and as much as he wants to let Wangji open up to him, all he can do is to understand him and wait for him to make the first move.

Upon entering the cafeteria, the crowd started talking and whispering to each other.

"Look, the twin heirs of Zhèngzhí University!"

"Wow! Are they really twins? They looked so good!"

"They're not twins! The elder brother is Lan Xichen, a graduating senior high student. And his younger brother is Lan Wangji, he's in grade 11."

"He's so tall for a grade 11-er."

"He's exactly my type! Oh my gosh!"

They continued giggling as the two passed by. The two brothers went to their usual seats. Meng Yao and Xue Yang are already there, waiting for them.
