Wei Wuxian found himself walking alongside a mysterious man in a white robe, whose face was obscured. The man wore a white headband on his forehead, giving him an air of authority. They were in a grand library pavilion, filled with ancient texts and scrolls.
"This is far the worst possible punishment I have ever known. It's better that I just cut my fingers than read these boring scrolls!"
Wei Wuxian cursed underneath his breath. His complaints were not far from his companion's reach, as he reacted with his utter silence.
As Wei Wuxian immersed himself in reading and memorizing the rules, he began to feel a sense of restlessness. The man watched him intently, his gaze unwavering.
"Boring! Boring! It's better to die!"
He cursed once more. Suddenly, Wei Wuxian grew bored and impulsively threw all the books, startling the man beside him.
"Wei Wuxian! That's unacceptable! You are deemed to be punished," the man declared, his voice echoing through the pavilion.
Wei Wuxian, however, felt no fear. Without any hesitation, he approached the man with a smirk, challenging him. "What are you gonna do, then?" he taunted, showing his pearly white bunny teeth.
"Stop it, Wei Wuxian."
"Uh-oh. What about this?"
Wei Wuxian picked another book from the shelves and throw it in mid-air, taunting him.
To his surprise, the man closed the distance between them and grabbed Wei Wuxian's collar. In a surreal twist, the man closed the gaps where his face should have been, pressing their lips together in a gentle yet electrifying kiss.
Wei Wuxian's eyes widened in surprise, his heart quickening as he attempted to break free from the man's grip. However, the man proved to be stronger, overpowering him and pressing him against the wall.
"Hmppp hmppp."
Wei Wuxian struggled against the mysterious man's hold, but it was like trying to escape an unyielding force. Their lips remained locked together, and the sensation was unnerving, as if they were bound by some unseen force. Feeling trapped and desperate, Wei Wuxian made a split-second decision. With a mixture of defiance and desperation, he sank his teeth into the man's lips, feeling the flesh give way under the pressure. The taste of blood filled his mouth, a stark reminder of the intensity of the moment. It was a drastic move, born out of a need to break free from the strange, almost hypnotic hold the man seemed to have over him.
"What are you doing?!"
Wei Wuxian exclaimed at the man, but he doesn't seem to have any hatred on him after what he had done.
After their lips parted, the man's voice filled the air with a deep longing. "I wanted to do this for a long time. I missed you so much, Wei Ying. Come back to me," he said, his words carrying a weight of emotion that struck a chord deep within Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian was at a loss for words, his mind reeling from the unexpected confession. He felt a pang in his chest, a strange sensation of longing and familiarity that he couldn't quite place. It was as if a part of him recognized the man and the longing in his words, yet he couldn't grasp the memory or the connection.
"Who are you?"
Wei Wuxian asked in desperation. Determined to understand, Wei Wuxian tried to focus, to see the man's face clearly and perhaps remember who he was. But before he could make sense of it all, a blinding light enveloped them, stealing his vision and plunging him into darkness. Disoriented and confused, Wei Wuxian reached out, searching for something, anything, to anchor him in this bewildering moment.
