The Vision

"What the hell is Wei Wuxian doing with that guy? Why is he always with him? Does he want to live together with him?"

Jiang Cheng cannot contain his annoyance as he saw Wei Wuxian at the school canteen walking along with the guy whom he assumed as his new friend in school.

It has been just almost 2 months since they transferred schools and yet here is Wei Wuxian having a close friend already.

Jiang Cheng snorted and took a bite in his burger.

"Mr. Jiang? Can I talk to you?"

Upon hearing his name, Jiang Cheng could not help but frown and turned around to check who called him.

"Who are you? How did you know my name?"

I think I know him. I met him on the hallways while the girls were gossiping with one another.

Jiang Cheng asked with furrowed brows, looking at the guy with the same school uniform as him. His expression changed when he saw who called his name. He has a tall and slender figure, with a dignified air about him. His eyes under his eyeglasses are bright and clear, like the purest spring water, and his smile is warm and sincere. 

Why the hell did you describe him in your head, you fool.

"Can I sit here, please?"

Jiang Cheng nodded as a response to him. He cleared his throat and faced the guy again.

"So, how did you know my name? And who are you?"

He asked, frowning his brows again.

"I'm Lan Xichen, and I'm the student council's president. I knew you were a transfer student since I manage the new transferees in our school for my record."

Jiang Check snorted, wondering why he was approached by this handsome student council's president. 

"So? What can I help you with, Mr. President?"

Lan Xichen showed a warm smile and pointed at the two students in front of them having their own world.

"I am Lan Wangji's brother, that guy who accompanies your brother, Wei Wuxian."

"Oh, that new friend of my brother. Yeah, so what does this have to do with me?"

Lan Xichen adjusted his frame and replied,

"I am not against their friendship or whatsoever. In fact, I am glad that my brother has a friend now. However,"

He paused, not sure if he will still continue.

"That bastard. Did he do something crazy again?! Tsk, he does not really change at all!"

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue. Lan Xichen eyed him and asked in confusion.

''What do you mean?"

"Wei Wuxian was a troublemaker ever since we were kids. We often change schools because of his misbehavior. What I don't understand is that, why would I need to suffer for all the things he has been doing? I did nothing wrong! All he ever did to our family was ruin us!"

Jiang Cheng blurted, raising his voice a little bit. Lan Xichen was a bit surprised at how Jiang Cheng vented out his anger to him, when he was just a total stranger to him.

Lan Xichen smiled and patted his head, trying to comfort him.

"Wha...what are you doing?"
Jiang Cheng was at a loss for words when he gestured to him. He can sense his cheeks reddened at the sudden gesture of Lan Xichen so he looked away and coughed, easing his mind.
