Deadpool:
There was a child in Hell's Kitchen, sitting on top of a pile of (unconscious?) bodies in an alleyway and swinging her feet. Seriously, she couldn't be any older than fourteen.
Of course, I ignored White and Yellow to get closer and investigate, because that's really weird and not at all something that's supposed to be here.
"Hey kid, why're you sitting on a pile of people? Actually, better, why are you here and are those bodies?"
"I don't really know where here is, I got caught in a really big crowd and bumped around until someone grabbed me and tried to drag me away. These people all attacked, I knocked them out and now I'm sitting on their backs and waiting for someone to find me."
Gah, how old is this demon child?
"I'm sixteen, UwU"
"How the heck did you say that?"
"*MaGiC* ^OwO^"
Okay, this kid is made out of freaking death and sugar or something.
"Who were you hoping would find you?"
"Isa or Baba, or maybe Aunt Nat or Uncle Lolo. Really any of the family, truthfully. I think they inserted a tracker in this hoodie or something."
Looking closely at the hoodie, I had a sudden shock. 'If found, return to the AVENGERS', with Tiny Stank, Popsicle gays, Scary spider, and various others' signatures below it.
Strings of curses ran through my head. If this kid really belonged to one of the Avengers, then they would raise hell to get her back. I needed to return her, ASAP.
"I can help you get back to them, I promise I won't hurt you or anything. I'm the antihero Deadpool."
Her eyes cut into me. "Antihero. I know my parents will find me pretty quickly, and you are known for taking the occasional assassin job."
These were the times I cursed my stupidity. Wait, if I can just hail Spidey...
Throwing one of my katanas against a wall, I waited for three seconds. On the fourth, Spider dropped down and looked around in confusion.
"She doesn't trust me to help her get back to her family, so I called you in."
"If Uncle Tony trusts this dude to help him, then I can trust him too."
I followed from behind as Spidey swung from building to building with the girl. It would be catastrophic if she became a splat, so my goal was to catch her in the event that Spider-boi dropped her.
I only left after Spidey dropped her off on the roof of the tower, where she'd be safe from pretty much everything.
Sorry for being AWOL for so long!
