Frigga:
Loki cared about this girl. Call it mother's intuition, but I knew that despite my son's icy facade as an emotionless trickster, he had fallen into the position of parental love for her.
"Unfortunately, the most I can offer is that she should stay in bed and rest- actually, willow tea might help, but if it's too hot that might cause problems."
Seeing the happy look on my son's face when I offered the solution was a memory I would treasure forever. Handing him a box of teabags, I decided to tease him a little.
"Loki dear, it's wonderful to see you stepping up to care about the Captain's daughter. What was her name?"
"Sophie."
"Well, I'm glad that the two of you have each other. Sometimes the best thing in this world is to have more people who care just as much about you as you do about them, no?"
He blushed slightly, nodding.
"I must take my leave, mother. Thank you for the willow tea."
"You're welcome, dear. Send my regards to Sophie."
"I will."
Sophie:
I'm still quartered here. Loki brought me a few cups of willow tea, Nat's came in to ask if I needed help taking a bath and to stand outside in case of trouble or to make sure I'm comfortable. Isa and Baba have taken turns holding onto me and singing to help me get what broken sleep I can. Sometimes, somebody reads to me or puts on a movie.
It could have been two days or ten, I didn't know. All I could be sure about was the fact that at this very moment Shuri could be hacking the tower with the intentions of breaking me out of my captor's hold.
I hug Ella closer to my heart, cuddling into Isa. "Isa?"
"Yes little bird?"
"I usually wouldn't ask this, but I'm slightly delirious from the flu so... anyways, I wanted to ask for help reconnecting with the people who actually raised me."
"What do you mean?"
Keeping my eyes closed, I mumbled "There was a family, the Parks. Amy found me in the park and brought me into their house. Probably the reason I'm still alive. Miss them."
I felt a hand stroke my head, and as I drifted into sleep I heard Isa say "Of course. I want to thank the people who kept you safe, but first you need to rest Crescent Moon."
Shuri:
Soph hasn't contacted me in three and a half days. I gave her the time to remember- maybe she was tired or busy- but she had never gone more than three days before texting or calling with a million teary-eyed apologies.
So, I was hacking tonight. There was a large entity of tech I noticed around her phone (which I had to hack in itself to get location-extremely protected.), and after much time and effort I concluded that Sophie was captured by... the Avengers?
She was in Stark Tower, the floor the Avenger bedrooms are on.
Well, I guess it's time for me to commit a felony against my brother's colonist friends, then.
Hopping into the jet I was messing with earlier to ease my worry fidgets, I set the course for for New York.
I'm coming for you, my Vine Queen.
