Socializing was important. Jung Hoseok agreed. He didn't have anything against it but parties such as the one he was currently attending were just not his thing. The people here were unfamiliar to him and even though his older siblings Dawon and Minhyeok were doing a pretty good job at keeping him involved, the whole setting bored him. Being in a privileged family had its downsides and attending these god-awful dinner parties was one of them. Hoseok breathed out longingly hoping for someone to come and rescue him when his prayers were heard.
An elegant man dressed in a black suit and holding a glass of champagne walked up to him with a pleasant smile. It wasn't until he opened his mouth and began talking did he realize who it was.
"You look great, Hoseok."
"NJ?" Hoseok whipped around in shock. "It's you? Wow, I didn't expect that. How come you're here?" He asked, eyeing the angel's attire. The angel looked dashing in his suit and if Hoseok hadn't known any better, he would have thought NJ was just another one of those businessmen attending the dinner party.
"Actually, I had something to talk to you about. If this isn't the right time I can g--"
"Please, don't." Hoseok grabbed the angel by his arm, mustering the best pleading eyes he could. "Take me away from here. This party's boring the heck out of me."

"A warning....w-would have been nice." Hoseok managed to sputter out, clutching his stomach to keep himself from hurling as the angel who had teleported him, chuckled.
"Sorry, we're here. Come on in." Hoseok could barely register where he was before the angel was leading him into what looked like a strangely empty high-end restaurant. Guiding him to the table at the center NJ gestured for him to take a seat. Intrigued and full of questions, Hoseok did as he was instructed. He had to admire NJ's sense of fashion. With his strawberry blonde hair slicked back and glasses sitting atop his flawless nose, NJ looked every part of a businessman. No wonder Hoseok hadn't noticed him sooner at the party.
"So did you get the news about your university giving everyone a short break for a week?" He shot him a wink.
Hoseok gasped. "Don't tell me! That was your doing?" NJ nodded his head, his grin widening. "Yes. I could give you a week at the most. That was as much as I could stretch my limit. You see, there are limitations when it comes to things that could affect people's fate."
"You didn't have to..." Hoseok trailed off feeling a little grateful for the angel's thoughtfulness when a familiar voice interrupted them
"Good evening, sirs. I'm Sia and I will be your waiter today." Hoseok whirled around shocked to see a smiling Sia staring down at the pair of them, complete with the uniform and clipboard ready for orders.
"Hello Sia," NJ greeted.
Sia bobbed her head. "Hello, Joon. Hi, Hoseok."
"Joon? Is that my new nickname?" The angel inquired playfully and Sia nodded. "Do you like it?"
"I love it," NJ answered truthfully with a little wink.
"Alright...may I have your orders, please?" She asked pointedly, staring down at Hoseok. He cleared his throat, snapping out of his shock. "I'll just have a glass of tap water, thanks."
"I'll have the same!" NJ piped from beside him even before Sia could turn to him and she glared.
"Cheapskate! At least order something expensive if you're going to conceal the entire restaurant." She chided, walking away to fetch their orders.
