"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING SIA?"
Jin cried, throwing his arms up in the air as soon as he had dragged Sia away from the public and found a discrete spot. Sia chewed on her thumbnail as she looked around, her eyes wavering. "I- I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know? Why did you hit him? What do you mean he's a monster?" Jin pressed, not satisfied with her reply and she looked up to him, her eyes pleading. "I don't know Jinnie but... I won't really do something like that. You know that, don't you? It's not me. Isn't it?"
Jin's eyes softened. "I know you won't do something like that without a reason, Sia," he gently placed his hands over her shoulders, forcing her panicked eyes to look at him. "So tell me. You were trying to tell me something, weren't you? What happened? Why did you do it?"
Sia shook her head again defeatedly, her shoulders sagging as she couldn't find an answer. She just did it. It was purely impulsive. There was no particular reason. "I think I'm going nuts."
"Sia..." Jin sighed, "Alright. Don't tell me if you're not ready to say anything yet. I'm going to keep an eye on Hoseok from now on. He did something to you, didn't he?"
"What? NO- I mean, yes but not like that. What I mean is- but what if he did, what if I forgot, I just- I don't even know..." Sia gave up. She couldn't explain anything to him. It wasn't exactly something she could explain. No one would believe her. No one would understand her. Even Jin. Slowly, she looked up. "Jin you don't have to do anything. Just don't get involved with him. He's..." She looked down at her feet. "He's dangerous."
Jin didn't give her a response.

Sia slurped on her ice cream as she walked down the lane to her home, her mind wandering all over the place. She didn't know what had gotten into her recently. She had been acting weird and feeling very strange impulses to do things that she usually never does. Why was it all happening to her? It was as if her body wanted to get her in trouble. Maybe it thought she had been too good her entire life.
She sighed. "Maybe I should go see a Psychiatrist." She looked up at the sky that had already dimmed to reveal a few evening stars. Pointing her ice cream at the sky, she asked. "Am I going crazy?" The sky answered her with silence.
She looked down and stopped just in time before she walked into someone's broad chest.
Sia frowned. She was sure no one was there just a few moments before. Where did he come from?
Her eyes trailed up to the person and she froze. There, just in front of her, was a boy she'd rather never run into alone and in the dark, standing there with that cold chill in his eyes, hands folded over his chest. He took a step forward.
Sia stumbled a step back and fell on her butt. "Don't- don't come near me." He took another step and Sia crawled back, holding her hand in front of her.
"How did you break it?" His voice was ominously low as he moved forward without paying heed to her. She slid back, trying to increase the distance between them. "S-stay away!" She cried and she mentally winced as her voice cracked. She didn't want to let him know that she was afraid but now that was out of the window. He had to be blind not to see how much she was trembling.
He tilted his head as he asked again. "How did you break it?"
She scrunched her face into a glare in a brave effort at trying to intimidate him. "I don't know what you're talking about!"
"The seal I put on you..." he slowly explained, still stepping forward as Sia kept retreating, "you were not supposed to be able to say anything about me. How did you break it?"
"So I was right! You did something to me!" She cried. There was no response from the man in front of her, except maybe the chill in his eyes might have strengthened. Sia stuttered, "I- I don't know! I don't know, okay? Just stay away from me!"
"Hmmm," Hoseok traced a finger along his jaw contemplatively. "Perhaps, are you a witch?"
Sia's jaw hung open in amazement at his words. The look on his face told her that he was being serious. She exhaled dazedly. "What in the Harry Potter..."
"Or a fae? Halfling? Mutation?" He went on, cold eyes scrutinizing her from top to bottom. Sia couldn't help but make a face.
"I'm human. H-U-M-A-N. Human. I'm not like you. So stay away- oh, for god's sake, can you stop walking towards me?!" She cried, a little annoyance bubbling up inside of her from his ignorance. Maybe, just maybe, she thought she felt that strange warm sensation in her again.
Hoseok gave her a chilling glare; nevertheless, he stopped.
"You see, little Ms.Normal?" He began explaining, "A normal person wouldn't be able to break out of my power. That means it's you who's not normal. You know what I'm saying?"
Sia didn't doubt it. There was definitely something inside of her. She could feel it distinctly well now. She could feel how it was luring her into that strange sense of false bravery. A scoff passed her lips, "So," her tone changed, cool eyes raking over his entire form before it finally landed on him. "You think I'm special?" Sia didn't like where it was going. This fake courage would land her in more trouble if it kept up. She had to take control. She had to gain focus.
Internally struggling against the strange impulses, she tried to speak. "You asked if I was a witch or a fae! Haha, what are you going to say next? That I'm a werewolf? A vampire? Next thing I know, you'd be saying that I'm your mate."
Fighting against the impulse was a bad idea. Now she didn't even know what nonsense she was spewing out. Hoseok, however, frowned, ponderingly. "A mate?" He mused.
Sia's joking stance faltered. "Wait, you're actually considering it. I-- I was just joking..."
When she saw him still deeply contemplating the idea, dread sank into the pit of her stomach. "No way...could it be? OH HELL NO!"
Hoseok finally shook his head in denial much to her relief. "No, I don't think so. I don't think you're...that."
"WHY WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER IT?" She screamed.
"So that I know who to steer clear of," he replied matter-of-factly.
"Oh...that actually doesn't sound that bad..."
Hoseok gave her a look. A very long look. Sia no longer knew if she should feel scared or not. She was having mixed and contradicting emotions. It would be really helpful if she could shut down her emotions for a few seconds and breathe. Finally, he sighed as he began softly, "Listen. I'll offer you a deal--"
"I don't make deals with monsters," the words tumbled out of her lips before she could hold them back. She saw a distinct tick appear on his jaw and realized with a certain fear that he was holding himself back. "Don't test my patience." Sia shakily nodded her head, looking down at the ground.
"How about this? You leave me alone and stop interfering in my life. In return, I will forget everything that happened and will never cross paths with you again."
That actually sounded like a really great idea but before she could agree, her lips had acted on their own again. "What if I refuse?"
That annoying something inside of her dared her to look into his eyes and the chill she found in them scared her to the core. Hoseok tilted his head. "If that's the case then..." he whispered as his eyes trailed down, "that pretty little neck of yours looks quite enticing. If you know what I mean..."
Never have a death threat been spoken so softly.
He straightened up, snapping out of it. "Just think about it. I hope for a positive response."
With that, he disappeared leaving Sia and her fallen ice cream on the road.
"My-- my ice cream..."
