"Ready?" Ash asked grinning. "yup you?" I asked kneeling in the push off running position. Ash has challenged me to a foot race. "three ... two... ONE!" Luke yelled. Ash and I shot off he was ahead of me at first but I slowed my breathing and got into running mode. I was on my high school track team. All of a sudden I couldn't breathe and black spots were clouding my vision. Shit I realized what was happening id forgotten to take my asthma medicine today. In the next two seconds I fall flat on my face. lying there on the concrete I feel the burning in my chest. I gasped and coughed and struggled to breathe. I hear Ash: "Ha I WIN I WIN- babe?: he saw me lying on the ground with the other guys walking toward me. "BABE!" He yelled. I hear fast approaching footfall. I open my eyes and see Ash's face hovering inches over mine."Ash- cough- I need- choke- to go home now." I wheezed and grabbed my chest. "What's wrong?" Ash asked picking me up. "Asthma I forgot- choke- my medication this morning." I said. "As we approach the house I look over at Cal. "Cal can yo-" he cut me off. "I know what to do." he said running ahead. Ash looked at me baffled "Wha?" " Cal has known me for 3 and a half years he introduced us.. wheeze... he knows about my asthma and how to care for - hack- me." I said laboring for breath. As soon as Ash had me in the front door Cal had my inhaler ready. I shook it and breathed. I sat back on the couch my breathing regulating Cal handed me my meds. I took them and looked at Ash. I kissed him passionately "have I told you I love you yet today?" I said leaning into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. "If I haven't I love you so much and you mean so much to me. please don't leave me." I said. " I won't." Ash chuckled. " I'm sleepy." I said yawning. "ok sleeping beauty, come on." Ash said carrying me to bed. I fell asleep instantly in his arms.
Ash POV:
I place my baby on the bed. I crawled in next to her. I pulled her as close as humanly possible. After today I didn't want to lose her. "y/n I love you more than you know you're my everything please don't leave me either." I whispered and kissed her cheek.
