Lonely

I step up to the door. I slowly open it. I slip inside and place the pizza and salad inside. I stand for a minute listening to my boyfriends band practice. they sound amazing. I start thinking about how big their getting and how little time we've spent together over the last month. These thoughts make tears run down my cheeks. I turn and slip out hoping they didn't notice. The music stops and I hear "y/n wait wait y/n." I wipe my eyes take a deep breath and turn around. "Hey." I say plastering a fake smile on my face. "Hey." Ashton said giving me a hug. "Just dropping off some food for you guys." I said. I could feel the tears welling behind my eyes. "Okay wanna stay and wait till practice is over then we can hang?" He asked. "Um..." the tears started slipping out. "I- I gotta go..." I said turning on my heel and running. "WAIT!" Ash yelled. I just kept running tears streaming down my cheeks. Ash runs back inside grabbing his jacket and running after me. "Dude what about practice." Cal shouts. "Love comes first." He said. I was running the sound of my trainers slapping the concrete slightly comforting. I veer off the road and into the woods. I ran until I reached the rock that juts over a small stream. I sat down and broke sobs racking my chest shoulders heaving. Because I thought I was alone I didn't care how loud I was. Suddenly two arms wrapped around me. "Cmon baby tell me what's wrong?" My boyfriends soothing voice asks filled with concern. I lean into him still sobbing. Once I calm down I find my voice. "Y- You guys are getting r-really Bbig now a-and I guess I'm just scared you're gonna forget about me and we've barley hung oooout this past month and I- I just sound clingy now." I breathed clutching onto his jacket shaking partly from the cold partly from the adrenaline. "No No baby No I could never forget about you... especially when you've given me so much to remember... If you really miss me that much then Saturday I'm all yours just you me and whatever you wanna do. I promise all day... Okay?" Ash says holding me. I nod. "Just don't cry ok I can't stand to see you cry." Ash said voice cracking. "Okay I won't" I said snuggling into him for warmth. "Come on let's go get you warmed up." Ash said leading me out of the woods.
