time flew by quicker than ever, like an hourglass, sand inevitably flowing by quicker each second until it ceases to exist.and so, came nine o'clock in the evening.
i sat on my bed, waiting for onyx to finish braiding lucille's hair, a delicate job that was certainly time consuming.
i was tired watching her twist and unknot almost every single strand of hair, and decided i'd head to the dorms before them, so i didn't have to waste my time spectating a hairdressing when i could be drinking right now.
"i'm going to the boys', i'll meet you there." i informed them both as i stood up, running my hand through my loose hair, which fell just below my shoulder blades and was straightened unusually, because onyx offered to do it for me and i caved in.
onyx replied with an 'okay' and i slipped through the door and out into the corridor, which was dimly lit and all prepared for nightfall.
i padded to the boys' dormitory staircase and tiptoed up, being weary and careful not to get caught by a seventh year prefect on night patrol, who even though i'm sure did this when they were in sixth year, love to snitch to the teachers in order to get house points and extra credit.
i brushed my finger across the corridor littered with dark oak doors, before i reached and recognised the boys' dorm number.
one seven two.
i knocked, inhaling deeply as i did, the last intake of fresh, purified air before my lungs were soon to be met and intoxicated with the stench of weed and alcohol.
blaise opened the door giddily, grabbing my wrist and pulling me in quickly to avoid anyone seeing.
"where's lucille and onyx?" he asked curiously, realising i came to their dorm alone.
"they're taking ages to get ready, so i decided i'd get here early without them." i shrugged, my hands now placed on my forearms, crossed across my chest as i adjusted to the colder temperature of their dorm.
magnora sent me a polite smile, before turning back to saskia. they were chatting on the large velvet carpet in the centre of the room, each sat on a pillow with playing cards scattered around them and empty shot glasses.
draco was stood up, rummaging through his drawers to put on a shirt, as he'd come late from studying at the library, and was changing out of his uniform.
excuse me for looking, but that man was ripped beyond compare.
now i understand what the rumours meant.
his pale, ivory skin, toned so spectacularly that you simply couldn't tear your eyes away.
blaise walked back over to the carpet, before plotting himself down next to magnora and beginning to play a round of cards with her, downing a shot before he arranged his deck.
mattheo was sat against the headboard of his bed, a blunt between his fingers as he tilted his head up, exhaling the smoke directly into the air as he parted his lips.
lorenzo was sat cross-legged on his bed, a book resting in his lap, and unsurprisingly, a blunt also rolled and hanging out of his lower lip.
i walked over to where lorenzo was sat, wondering what an earth a boy of his personality would be remotely interested to read book-wise.
"what're you reading?" i asked slowly as i sat next to him, and watched as he looked up from his book, using two fingers to remove the blunt from his mouth, inhaling sharply as he poisoned his lungs with each dose he took of the dried substance.
