"forty-four out of fifty?" draco examined our essay papers, which had only just been returned to us, "that's not bad.""it's shit, draco." mattheo rolled his eyes arrogantly, leaning back in his chair, his tame curls falling in front of his face, "if it wasn't for your shit paragraph on the scorpius constellation, we'd be getting top marks."
"hey, he tried his best mattheo," i intervened, defending draco, "i haven't seen him focus that much on school assessments since fifth year." i said, sending a small supportive smile to draco, who ran his hand through his platinum locks, before smirking back to me in appreciation.
"thanks val."
i nodded, before sighing and pushing the marked essay paper away from me, not wanting to glance at it ever again - for i hated rereading what i had previously written, because all of a sudden every single tangible flaw became evident in my eyes.

last lesson of the day, and i'd spent lunch with onyx, lucille, draco, blaise, mattheo, and magnora.
theodore was talking to pansy parkinson in the courtyard trying to salvage their friendship that mutually ended on a rather sour note in fourth year, and lorenzo and saskia were absent without an apparent reason.
go on,
take a wild fucking guess at what they're doing right now.
fucking in the toilets!
classy.
over the past few days, me and magnora began to become closer as friends, i discovered that her family owned a well-known confectionary shop in hogsmeade, and that her favourite colour was yellow.
random, however something about learning the simpler aspects to someone you've never actually been given a chance to connect with before warms your heart just a little.
"valentina darlene, please report to snape's office as soon as possible." a voice echoed throughout the school, people cocking their heads in different directions to see whom in which valentina darlene was, who had fallen victim to the summoning of the school announcement speakers.
i let out a huff, cussing under my breath.
what could they possibly want from me? ive been trying to remain under the radar for almost a year now, and i thought so far i was doing pretty good.
except for that scene that happened in the hallway with saskia.
little hiccup, but everyone forgot about it a day later.
i don't think saskia did, though.
something's telling me she's going to have it out for me now, and she is most definitely capable of doing much worse than a petty barge into my shoulder.
"shit! what have you done now val?" blaise spoke up, the group sharing worried looks to one another, obviously assuming the worst.
i shrugged, not knowing what i'd done either.
"i don't know, but i'm going to find out."
"let us know what happens!" onyx called out, as magnora sent me a sympathetic smile, letting me walk away, succumbing to the voice over the speakers.
okay.
it can't be that bad, can it?
i don't think i've done anything wrong.
