Mandy does, just not this particular wednesday.
"i don't know bill" she sighs playing with the rocks on the rooftop of her flat building
"cant back out now, it's either you tell them or Wilbur does" he purses his lips and leans back on a generator
"such a prick that wilbur is. forcing you to tell them. it's your business not his" he glares at the building and mandy chuckles
"he's just looking out for tommy, the two of them have been close since year 10" she shakes her head, now drawing stuff with the rocks
"i would do the same for kai" she shrugs and bill nods
mandy opens her pack of cigarettes and lights it. she takes a drag and offers it to bill who takes it gratefully
"not everyday i see the billzo smoking a cigarette" she chuckles and bill glares at her
"your situation is making me stressed. not my fault i'm an empath"
"yeah yeah whatever" Mandy waves a hand dismissively and bill laughs before passing the cigarette back and forth
so there the two best friends were, sharing a cigarette on the roof top, in the afternoon, just laughing and passing time.
mandy gets a text and picks up her phone

Mandy sighs and stands up
"the mission awaits captain" she salutes him and he laughs, following her down the stairs.
Mandy makes it to her apartment and goes into her room, she picks up the black dress she was going to wear and begrudgingly walks into the bathroom
she does her makeup how she's done for the past 10 years and puts on the dress. she pairs it with black and white Jordan retros and walks out of the bathroom
"trainers, really?" he scrunches his nose and mandy scoffs
"if you thought i was putting heels on; you're a moron" she quips fixing her hair in the hall mirror
"your prince charming awaits" Bill bows before stepping into her room to give them some privacy
Mandy checks the time and realizes it's 5. she walks to the door and Ranboo smiles down at her, wearing a loose button up and jeans
"i think the last time i saw you dress nice was year 10 homecoming" she smiles and ranboo scoffs
"that's what you say first? not ' hey ranboo you look really good!' no. you compare my swag to when i was a prepubescent teenager"
Mandy laughs covering her mouth and ranboo shakes his head
"come on blondie, we have two guys to scare" he wraps an arm around her shoulders and she smiles
"always down for some good mischief" she shrugs and he snorts
"can take the name away from mandy but can never take the mandy out of the girl" Ranboo quotes
