"what's up tubs?" Mandy asks as they walk into a separate room. she crosses her arms and Tubbo takes a big inhale
" when you left, me, Tommy, and Ranboo didn't talk much. i don't know about Tommy and Ranboo but i didn't talk them" he explains leaning on the wall
"well, after we reconnected; we moved here. but i still wasn't doing okay. i was isolating myself and driving wherever just to get things off my mind" he confesses and Mandy nods
"well i stumbled across this parking garage one night, and i was standing near the edge and i thought.." he trails off
"i thought what if i just left? what if i just disappeared one night and never came back" he lets out shakily
"but then, there was this girl sitting on the edge of the parking garage, her head was down, and out of instinct i walked over"
"i asked her if she was gonna jump and she said no, that's not why she comes here" Tubbo looks blankly at the wall as if remembering the interaction
" and everyday i go and i sit and i talk to her, she lets me vent, and she's a really cool person. she likes all of the music you listened to in high school, and her laugh is the best thing ever-" he rambles with a smile on his face
"she just sits and talk with me, she's helped me through a lot, not in a therapist kind of way, i honestly think i can call her my best friend" he concedes running's hand through his hair
"what's her name?" Mandy asks with a soft smile
"Jade" he breathes and Mandy nods
"you should talk about this with the guys, i'm glad you told me, and i'm sorry for whatever you were going through" Mandy sighs
"i don't think they'll care about the reason you leave, i think their just worried because you leave, don't tell them where you're going, then come back all happy." she explains
"they probably think you're doing drugs" she humphs and Tubbo snorts
"probably, Thanks Mandy" he smiles and Mandy salutes
"at your service Tubs" she winks and walks to the door
"seriously though thank you Mandy" he blurts and mandy smiles softly
"Of course Toby" she nods before walking out into the living room
"boys and gal," she gestures to gabby who winks
"who would like to come with me to pick up the ever so lovely Malachi James Connor?" she asks
"of course are you kidding?" Tommy scoffs
"i wanna see mal" Ranboo nods and gabby follows along
"i want to meet the ever so famous Malachi" Gabby chuckles and mandy smiles
"you going tubs?" she asks and tubbo shakes his head
"i'm good" he nods to mandy and walks to his room
"alright everyone, let's go" she gestures to the door and everyone blinks
"like right now?" gabby asks covering her mouth full of food
"unless i want to strand my brother in an airport" she stops. "actually that sounds like a good idea" she mutters
"don't you dare" Ranboo glares at her and she snorts
"you do realize he's not the cute six year old anymore right? he's 12" she reminds him, walking to her keys
they all follow her into the elevator, Mandy hits the fourth floor button and tommy giggles
"i get to see your flat" he rolls on his feet with a smile and Mandy looks at him confused
"you've already been to my flat?" she asks and tommy grimaces
"no i haven't" he blinks at her and she blinks back
"yes, you Ranboo and tubbo knocked on my door at like 5 pm one day saying how i wasn't online for a while, then you said something about wilbur and Ranboo-" she stops in realization
"and ranboo what?" Ranboo asks, catching on.
"nothing it was a dream" she shakes her head and steps off the elevator
"not that stupid green bastard" Tommy scoffs leaning against the wall to the side of her door
Mandy unlocks it and steps inside, she throws her keys on the counter and goes into her bedroom
"two bedroom?" Tommy asks and Mandy chuckles
"yeah me and bill got this flat, he moved out so now i just have an extra room" she shrugs and closes her bedroom door to get changed
"makes sense, is Kai going to move up here?" Tommy asks from the hall
"i'm trying to convince him, he would love it up here" Mandy sighs, and throws on leggings and a hoodie and some sneakers. then she opens the door to tommy smiling
"i'm sure if he found out we were two floors above he would definitely move in" Tommy puffs his chest and Mandy rolls her eyes walking out of the hallway
"yes because he loves you guys more than me" she replies sarcastically
"it's true" Ranboo pipes up from the living room where he was looking at a photo
Mandy walks over to him and looks at the photo, it was of them the night before the guys left
" i didn't know you kept it" his volume grew softer as her presence lingered.
"i tried to rip it up" she shrugs "couldn't bring myself to do it, so i just framed it" she points to a tear in the photo and Ranbo lets out an amused 'hmph'
Mandy then points to another photo, this one was hung on the wall, it was of Ranboo and Malachi, they were outside in the snow of New York, just outside the school
Ranboo smiles and Mandy checks her phone
"shit" she curses and walks to her keys
"last one to the car has to carry Kai's bags!" she yells. Ranboo and mandy smile before sprinting to the elevator. Ranboo jitter clicks the close button, and as Gabby and Tommy were just at the elevator it closes
"LETS GOO" she yells then covers her mouth
"shut up!" Ranboo chuckles making Mandy laugh
they giggle the whole way out of the elevator, gaining stares from passers walking by. they lean up against
