Rogue #2 POV

What an idiot.

He proved to be more stupid than I originally thought.

I knew I should never have partnered up with him in the first place.

I was fine by myself, originally - I'm not even sure why I took on his offer of companionship. I should have just left him when I had the chance.

I would have left him, for sure, if I had known he would drag me into something so troublesome.

Killing a Pack member in front of the reigning Alpha is like attacking a new born in front of its mother... what the hell was he thinking?! Does he have a death wish?! If so, then why did he have to get me involved too?!

I turn to face the young Alpha girl, my guard sil up - judging her movements for danger.

I wonder what the Alpha will do to us now.

Quiet, Hound (wolf). Stay cautious.

If I die I'll make sure to bestow just retribution upon him. Stupid rogue got me in a deep load of shit!

"Just so you know, I ain't planning on backing down without a fight... I had nothing to do with what just happened here but that don't mean I won't kill for survival..."

Silence.

Why is the alpha girl just sitting there, crouched on the floor? Her heads down, most likely staring at the dead girl... is she even listening to me?!

"I don't planning on dying here!"

The words were enough to make her head shoot up, making rapid eye contact with me.

My blue eyes meeting her shimmering silver.

Huh? ... Silver? ...

Unknown's POV (Hidden in Plain Sight)

I barely saw her move... swiftly manoeuvring past that blabbering wolf to making a direct attack on her target - the rogue who murdered her comrade.

He did not stand a chance...

I just sat in place, casually watching from afar - the branch proving to be more comfortable than it had initially looked.

Wow. She's amazing.

I have to admit, she made an impressive display of brutality - blindly ripped the first rogue's body to pieces (haha, see what I did there? ;)..) and I had a first class view - watching the mongrel's demise from the comforts of my oh-so-beloved seat on my oh-so-favourite tree branch. It was fantastic! And the horror-struck looks she got from her onlookers... hahaha hilarious! Absolutely fantastic! If only I got to see stuff like this more often... wolves have grown to become quite remote in their killing methods... just a quick grab and bite... so boring and, ultimately, predictive...

... But her... she's intriguing...

Now... where did I stash those potato chips?

*CRUMPLES*

Ah ... lower front left pocket...

I have GOT to start remembering these things...

*MUNCH.MUNCH*

Dianna's POV (Dungeon Girl #2)

It's in the blood of an Alpha, they inherit excessive strength and rage compared to average wolves, to keep their pack members in check - as well as protect their pack when needs be...however, these characteristic traits fluctuate in strength between (and through the blood of) Alpha's...
