I sat up and glared at her. "I know you didn't just say that."

"What?" She furrowed her brows.

"Do you have zero self-worth?" I stared at her.

"I'm just self-aware?" She looked confused.

"Self-." I shook my head. "You are absolutely not self-aware."

She sat up. "What was I wrong about then?"

"What we're you right about?" I laughed.

"I'm a monster."

"No, you're not." I crossed my arms.

"I was seven years old when I made my first kill." She stared at me.

"That doesn't make you a monster, that makes you traumatized."

"I can't count how many people I've killed."

"And I'm sure you killed all those people on your own for your own reasons." I said sarcastically.

"I can't count the people I tortured either."

"So you wouldn't just kill for me, you'd torture for me?" I smiled.

"This isn't a joke." She hit me with a pillow.

"You don't get to call me a goddess and call yourself a monster. Let alone in the same breath."

She groaned. "But-."

I put my hand over her mouth. "No buts."

She raised her eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes. "No sentence buts." I moved my hand down.

"I thought so." She tackled me against the bed. "You're fucking gorgeous."

"Nice subject change." I exhaled.

She smirked. "I know."

She crashed her lips against mine. I liked the soft and romantic kisses, but I loved the hungry ones more.

She always tried to be gentle with me, but when she was being gentle she was distant. It was like she was fighting a silent war in her mind.

I could tell it was happening with these, but I don't think she noticed. I think she was able to ignore whatever was going on in her head.

She kissed me deeply. She held onto me with everything she had. I could stay like this forever.

Then I heard a knock on the door.

Or lips broke apart and Rosa set her forehead against mine.

"Yes?" She half yelled through her heavy breathing.

A voice I didn't recognize yelled something in Spanish.

"Yes." Rosa sighed.

The door opened. A woman I didn't know was standing there.
