TW: Mentions of limb dislocation and repositioning (from this point forward this will be referenced to as "contortion" and it is necessary to the plot)

"Who told you to go that far?" Ciel yelled at Sebastian and Y/N as they exited the main tent. Both of them were now covered in tiger hair. Sebastian was covered almost head to toe and it was falling off of him and onto Y/N who had to drag him away from the ring.

"Forgive me. I have been alive for a long time, but cats are so whimsical, I can never quite read them..." Sebastian was practically floating on cloud nine as they made their way back to the carriage. Y/N had never seen him so happy and content, it was quite the sight. Ciel on the other hand looked like death.

"First of all, what were you two trying to gain by standing out so mu-" Ciel would've probably scolded them for much longer if he hadn't been cut off by a sneeze. His allergy to cats finally began kicking in. "You know I'm allergic to cats! Stay away from me, both of you!"

"Yes, sir."

"I didn't even do anything," Y/N whined.

"Ah! There! There they are! Ye there, sir, ma'am..." Y/N and Sebastian turned to look at Joker who was waving and chasing after them. "Ye with the tailcoat and Miss with the vest!"

"Yes?" Y/N asked.

"We really are so sorry about what 'appened back there," Joker apologized once more.

"Not at all. Please forgive my untoward behavior," Sebastian said.

"It really is our fault, I shouldn't have let 'im go. I know how he can be 'round cats." Y/N smiled nervously and put a hand on Sebastian's shoulder.

"Still, shocked me clean out of my skin, ye did! Suddenly getting all close to the tiger like that. Where ye got bit, are ye sure it's all right?" Joker asked.

"Trust me, the day he gets hurt is the day I die," Y/N chuckled. "Though, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get it checked."

"The lady's got a point. It might be a good idea to get our troupe doctor to take a look at ye," Joker offered. "Come 'round back, if ye would." There was a small silence as Sebastian contemplated the offer.

"Much obliged," He smiled.

"We'll follow you," Y/N replied.

Y/N and Sebastian made sure to take in as much as they could, though Sebastian was obviously getting a lot more input than Y/N. He was a demon after all. "'Ere we go," Joker said as they walked through an array of tents. "Right this way. Beg your pardon, this place is rather a mess." Though it was to be expected, the way the circus members sulked and stalked about in the shadows was unsettling. Watching the members eye Y/N over their shoulder sent a shiver down her spine, it was like they could see right through her. "Watch your step," Joker warned them as they passed by a caged lion. The beast's eyes reflected the pale moonlight as it stared at Sebastian who looked like he wanted to pet it very badly. "Oh. Snake." Joker waved to the performer. "Is the Doctor in the first-aid tent?" Snake said nothing as his snakes slithered across his torso. One of them, Y/N wasn't sure which, used its tail to point. Though Sebastian and Y/N were at a loss, Joker seemed to understand because he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Baaad timing! Seems he's out on business."

"Oh? Isn't that the lad who was bitten by the tiger?" Y/N and Sebastian turned to face Wendy and Peter who were perched upon a barrel. They were so small that both of them could fit with room to spare.

"You're right! What a lob of a lad!" Y/N rolled her eyes.

"At least he's the size of a grown one!" Y/N retorted. "Honestly kids these days, got no respect for their elders!" Peter began to shout profanities and was prepared to jump off the barrel and attack Y/N before Joker pulled her and Sebastian away from the tiny performer.
