TW: Ciel's asthma attack described in kinda vivid detail, mentions of Doc's side hustle, I mention a bong-like tea kettle thing (I honestly no idea what it is but all it has is water in it), innuendo of what Sebastian did to our Queen but nothing explicit

"You cur," Ciel gasped as he lifted the flap covering the entrance to Sebastian and William's tent. "You set the venomous snakes free even though you knew I was still there, didn't you?" Sebastian paused for a moment before smiling.

"Yes. Your order was to return in advance of the first string and set the snakes free. Did we not but carry out your orders to the letter?" The demon smirked.

"Wait, you mean he was-" Y/N began sputtering. Of course she had known Ciel would get into trouble with a snake and Doll, but she also knew he would walk away just fine. "Kid, I'm so sorry!"

"Save it, it's not you I'm peeved with," Ciel snapped. He turned to Sebastian and gave him a glare that could level a mountain.

"Whyever are you bestowing me with such a baleful glare?" Sebastian grinned. "Please be at ease. I shall protect your life as long as our covenant holds-however... You were well aware that if you made a mistake in your plans, you could have suffered bodily harm to the point of death, no?" Y/N shuttered when she noticed the light catch Sebastian's fangs. There had been many instances when she had seen him in a small fraction of his true form, but the slight changes in her friend that happened in seconds were always unsettling. "Every game must have its thrills, after all... As the young Master is insatiable when it comes to games, I assumed you felt the same way."

"Hah! Your idea of sport is in such bad taste, it fair makes me retch, you Devil!" Ciel did indeed look sick as he said it, but Y/N knew it was actually because of his ill health to come rather than Sebastian.

"I am flattered," smiled the demon.

"You two need so much therapy," Y/N muttered.

"Forget it," Ciel coughed as he spoke, "After we parted, I found a letter that had my name written on it in that clown Joker's tent. From what I could gather, it also contained my peerage, the location of the manor, and even a brief personal history." Ciel walked over to the bunk bed situated in the tent and leaned on one of the posts. "There was also-"

"You there," William interrupted. The reaper pulled his scythe from his pocket once more and extended it, almost clipping Ciel's foot. "You're three centimeters inside my territory."

"Huh?" Ciel had to hop onto one foot to avoid losing a toe.

"It is clear neither of you are able to observe the lines we have drawn. I see the dog takes after his master." Ciel scoffed at Spears, clearly the kid hadn't seen the line drawn on the dirt floor. "One can't help but wonder, what then will become of the cat."

"Excuse me?" Y/N shouted. "Call me that again and I'll-"

Ciel coughed loudly and cut off Y/N's threat. "Sebastian, Y/N, let's take this outside."

"Yes, sir," Sebastian replied as he and Y/N followed Ciel outside the tent.

"As I was saying, there was also a file of information on a particular individual that the circus had been warned to be wary of," Ciel explained.

"Who?" Y/N was caught off guard, there was only supposed to be information on Ciel in that letter. "Don't tell me..."

"'The Lion', 'A New Local Hero Emerges From The Shadows', the list could go on about the articles with you at the center that were encased inside the letter. It appears you have quite the admirer," Ciel coughed as they ducked into a space between two tents.
