                                 [Sanford]

Wind was thrashing against the building which sheltered them, if he had the choice, Sanford would have left in fear of the place falling apart, however, under Deimos's insistence, they would all be staying to avoid "even more injury."

"So you're telling me you didn't hear that before now?" Deimos asked Sheriff, who apparently hadn't noticed that the wind had gotten stronger until it was pointed out to him. Sanford had noticed that they'd been acting more air-headed than usual for the past few days, at first he thought it may just be an off day, but it had continued up until now.
"Guess not." Sheriff responded with a small shrug, to which Deimos looked over to Sanford in confusion, most likely to check if Sanford had heard the same thing he had. Sanford offered a shrug in return, to which Deimos turned back, seemingly at a loss for how to continue their conversation, which was rather surprising for them.

After a couple of minutes of silence had passed, Sanford figured he should try to restart the conversation himself, he had something he'd been meaning to ask for a while.
"So, Sheriff, where exactly is the improbability drive?" Sanford asked, he noticed Deimos had redirected their focus into looking toward Sheriff for the answer, full of anticipation. Sanford knew full well that they wanted to leave Nevada sooner than later, he couldn't blame them though, he also wanted to leave as soon as they could all manage. Sheriff sat in silence for a little while, eventually Sanford assumed they might not have heard him, he was about to repeat himself before they finally got an answer.

"I'm pretty sure it's in the basement of hq... If not, there will be something about it's location in there." They explained, to which Sanford found he had a renewed sense of hope, now that they knew where to find the thing. From what he could tell, Deimos felt much the same, 'I think we've all needed this kind of news..' Sanford thought, happy that the somber mood which had been plaguing their group for the past several months seemed to be started to lift.
"What happened to Hank?" Deimos questioned, as they scanned across the warehouse. Sanford took their lead, scanning around the place himself for any sign of them, he found none, though this was no surprise, considering Hank had practically mastered the art of stealth.
"We can always tell him when he shows back up?" Sanford offered, 'shame though, I reckon this would've lifted their mood, too.' Deimos eventually shrugged it off, probably coming to the same conclusion he did.

From there, it seemed that conversation was easier to carry, Sanford deciding to finally take the time to make a strong enough knot to keep the rope attached to his hook for now. They all talked for a while, though, he noticed Sheriff had started to become a little less responsive, not in the way of losing consciousness, probably, more so as if they were distracted by something.
"Seems like it's been a little while.. You two ready for lunch?" Deimos asked with a grin, Sanford knew that look too well. Deimos was up to something. Sheriff stayed quiet, though Sanford had come to start expecting that, from what he'd gathered in conversation it seemed they'd been behind on sleep.
"Sure.." Sanford replied, unsure if he should ask anything about what Deimos might be up to.
"Alright! I'll be back in a minute." Deimos said in a strangely ecstatic way as they stood them self up. They seemed way too eager to get away from the small group they'd formed, and if he knew Deimos at all, he knew that they hated when they had to seperate from being around people.

Sanford would normally keep more of an eye on Deimos when they're like that, but he had other private concerns he'd wanted to share.
"So, Sheriff, been behind on sleep, hm?" Sanford began, letting Sheriff take their time in  coming up with a response, a minute or so had passed before they finally spoke up.
"Yeah.. nothing too big, just.. a few bad dreams." Sheriff finally said, now, Sanford let himself have a minute to figure out how to respond.
'Some bad dreams.. Something scaring them maybe..? But then, what would it be?'
He asked himself, deciding he would try filling in the blanks himself, though much as he tried, he couldn't quite figure it out himself.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's been bothering you so much?" Sanford questioned, deciding he might be able to help out, even if only a little. This question seemed to take longer for Sheriff to process, he sat in silence for a good couple minutes, from their expression, they seemed fairly deep in thought.
