[Sanford]

"What do you mean? It's right here." Sanford pointed out, moving the hook to his other hand and leaning down to grab the bag from against the wall and slinging it over his shoulder. They'd both gone outside to get it back after they'd finished clearing their side of the building, Deimos had somehow managed to both forget where they put the thing and not been able to see it, though to their credit, it had been placed behind a downspout which would have slightly hidden it, but still, it was a little surprising they didn't see it. As for the reason the buildings had downspouts, Sanford had no clue, since it rarely ever rained in Nevada.
"Yeah, well... I couldn't see it behind that thing." Deimos tried to justify, though it was pretty obvious that they were just trying to save them self the embarrassment of admitting they completely missed it.

"Sure." Sanford said, patting their shoulder as he limped past them, making his way back inside. He was glad to be back inside, away from the sun. Usually it wouldn't bother him too much now, he'd been here long enough to get used to the heat, or the humidity which occasionally replaced it, but it had really heat up outside. That was something he'd never get used to, the days where he constantly felt light-headed and knew he would pass out if he tried doing anything other than lying down. At least the floor of the building would be better than the dust outside, all he had to do was find a clean room before the heat made its way into the building.

Deimos followed behind him, briefly speeding up to walk beside Sanford once they'd made it though the door.
"So what now?" Deimos asked, Sanford about it thought for a few seconds,
"I'm thinking we should go tell the other two how hot it's getting, find ourselves somewhere we can wait it out, too." Sanford replied, after that, he didn't really know, but he was sure they would find something trivial to do, that or trying to doze off so they could sleep through the heat wave.
They made it to where the paths diverged, they stopped for a second before continuing to the right, recalling the other two had gone that path. Sanford silently cheered, since they weren't going back to the left Deimos wouldn't be able to find an excuse to try and find the pipe Sanford had been using. It had been a pain in the ass trying to fight while relying on it to keep off his injured leg, so he'd just ditched it and resorted to limping instead.

As he turned the corner he was surprised to see Hank about halfway down the corridor, leaning against the wall.
'Well, that was easy.'
Deimos took a little longer to realise they were there, but seemed to share the same reaction as him.
"Huh." Deimos muttered absent-mindedly to them self, before speaking louder to get Hank's attention,
"Hey! How you doing over there?"
Hank didn't actually reply, they never really spoke so it wasn't very surprising, though they still looked in their direction, letting both of them know he heard them. Sanford expected that Deimos would keep up small talk but they didn't, resulting in a couple seconds of awkward silence between the three of them until Sanford and Deimos made it over to Hank.

"Hey, look, we were just outside and it feels like there's a good chance of a heat wave today." Sanford explained, deciding it best to just get straight to the point. Hank looked around in contemplation, about what, Sanford had no clue, but they seemed content with whatever conclusion they eventually came to. Hank slightly nodded, and went back to whatever they were doing beforehand, which just seemed like waiting around.
'They're being a little strange..'
He thought briefly, though he shrugged it off. Sanford had to admit he knew embarrassingly little about Hank, even despite the amount of time they'd all been a group, for all he knew this could be a normal thing for them.

He considered staying a little to try talking with them, even for just a couple minutes. Now that he'd finally realised, he felt a little bad that he'd hardly tried to get to know them, but he knew he'd have to go figure out where Sheriff went and warn them about the heat wave as well. Something told him it would take a lot longer to find out where they were.
'I can always try talking to Hank after this..'
Sanford reasoned with himself, besides, he knew they were on the more... introverted side of things and they didn't seem especially sociable right now.
"Want to come with?" Deimos offered, predictably, Hank shook their head, still not attempting to speak.
"C'mon, it'll be fun! We could have like... a sleepover, but without the pillow fighting." Deimos insisted, Sanford chuckled a little at the idea of the three of them smacking each other with pillows. Again, Hank declined,
wordlessly shaking their head. Deimos finally gave in,
"Your loss. Still happy for you to come along if you change your mind, though." Deimos shrugged, continuing down the hall, Sanford followed, keeping pace.
