Out Of Her League

the letter

"name is...serenity" she said with a tone that could calmed me down instantly.
"when's sage getting here." I said
"idk maybe in like 5 mins or so" she said smiling at me.
"you should go..."
"no I wanna stay with you I was so worrie-"
*BANG*
we both look toward the door and see sage running in crying.
"JADEEEEEEE" she says while tears run down her face
she runs and hugs me before I could even say a word
"ARE YOU OK?!? ARE YOU TRYING TO WORRY ME TO DEATH" she says still crying
"IM SORRY SAGEEE" I say excited she's finally here
she wipes off her tears and stops hugging me. she looks at serenity not even noticing she was in the room till now. she puts her hands on my bed and leans in real close to serenity whos on the opposite side.
"so... who are you."
"s-serenity"
sages eyes widen. she looks at me and I can already tell what she's thinking before she even says it. her eyes are telling me
"Jade what the fuck is this asshole doing here"
I laugh a little trying to make it less awkward.
"ohhh so yours the serenity my poor Jade is constantly talking about" sage says
"huh?....JADE TALKS ABOUT ME?!?!" Serenity says looking a bit excited
"why are you so hyped. awww did you think it was something good about you?" sage says with puppy dog eyes.
I could tell her was obviously making fun of Serenity.
"serenity maybe you should go" I say feeling to ashamed to even look at at her.
"YEAH WHAT SHE SAID" sage yells while pointing to the door to leave
"fine" serenity said while walking out.
then she stops. she turns around and grabs my hand. she hold my hand and says "I'm sorry"
*hours later*
"bye bye!" sage says while waving at me before walking out my hospital room.
finally shes gone I felt like she was here for forever. I look down at the note that Serenity gave me before she left. the notes folding up with a arrow pointing to the back of the note. I turn it around and it says something on it.
"open on Sunday at 10pm"
what are the odds. thats a couple hours after I leave the hospital.
*ringggg*
I look down at my phone and see someones calling me. it's a unknown number.I answer it and wait for someone to say something
"hello?" the caller says
"hello?" I say back
"Jade it's serenity" she says
"oh." I say
"hahaha sorry to disappoint" she says
"haha you didnt" I say
"good. I'm trusting you not to open that note till Sunday" she says
"yea yea" I say before hanging up
i lay down and try going to sleep. when I wake up I see a docter talking to my mom. I can't understand what there saying since I'm just waking up.
"mom?"
"yes honey" she says
"am I gonna be ok?" I ask
"yes honey we're about to go home now"
"Oh ok" I say
*hour passes*
"ok honey let's go home grab your things and head to the car I'll be parked out front by time you come out" my mom says
"ok mom I'll be there in a bit"
I pack my things and then head to the elevator. once I press my floor right before the doors close a guy comes in. I go into the corner of the elevator while I wait for the elevator to get to my floor.
once it finally does I leave and go outside to see my mom parked on the curb. we get in the car and head home. once we get there I get out the car and head up to my room. I charge my phone since it's dead and then watch a bit of tv. it hits 9:50 and I'm getting a bit bored. I get on my phone for a bit till I get sleepy
"OH CRAP"
I check the time and it's 9:59 I completely forgot about the letter! I look for it in my room and can't find it anywhere. I run down stares and look in the living room and still can't find it. I check my kitchen and see it in plain sight on the kitchen table.I open the letter and it says...................
